Watson of U.S. District Court in Columbus said the Republican-dominated Ohio legislature violated the federal constitution and Voting Rights Act in 2014 when it reduced the state's early voting period from 35 to 28 days. The move also eliminated the so-called Golden Week in which eligible residents could register to vote and cast an absentee ballot at the same time."

This disproportionately affected African Americans, naturally.

Your concerned about voting representation with the status of the democratic primary/caucus system.  Give me a break

I am fairly certain that the ruling covers both primary and general elections.

Why ?    You mean 7 less early voting days affected black more than any other race or group of people..  is it because they are on CPT and can't get it together to vote in 28 days?
