One of the leading candidates for the Democrat nomination for President of the United States..is calling for reparations,,not for former slaves but for gayys and lesbianns.

Citing a tax code that was “discriminatory” against non-heterosexual married couples...Warren tweeted Saturday, “It wasn’t until marriage equality became law that gayy & lesbiann couples could jointly file tax returns—so they paid more in taxes. Our government owes them more than $50M for the years our discriminatory tax code left them out. We must right these wrongs.”

Warren’s Refund Equality Act, introduced June 20, would retroactively apply “married-filing jointly” status..

Back in February Sen. Elizabeth Warren floated the notion of reparations for indigenous people.... saying Native Americans need to be “part of the conversation."

In March Elizabeth Warren declined to say whether she would support monetary compensation as a form of reparations for African-Americans whose ancestors were slaves...

As a result ,,,,,we have Sen Warren wanting to pay gayys and lesbianns reparations............willing to talk about reparations for American Indians ,but declining to say she would support reparations for African-Americans ..Well ,Liz you are looking good on getting the vote from that .04 percent of American population ,,however getting the rest is looking a little fuzzy..

This is her pitch for the happy vote?  Smarter to offer something real instead of nonsense.  I get why politicians pull this crap but you lose credibility with the masses.  Most just roll their eyes.  Is she really that desperate?

I wonder if Warren would support legislation requiring "box checkers", that is, white people falsely claiming to be Native Americans, to pay back the money they stole from real Native Americans in scholarships, jobs, etc.

But some ,,have already got some ....  30 years ago the federal government compensated &#xD;&#xA;Japanese-Americans for their internment during World War II, each survivor of the camps was payed $20,000.............

&#xA;This is ridiculous. Most of those running for president just got their 15 minutes of fame &amp; should bow out now. I&#x27;ll be heading up to Michigan for the summer this week but even if I were home I wouldn&#x27;t be watching this spectacle. Maybe some are auditioning for a position in the new administration but I don&#x27;t think this is the best way to about it.

&#xA;That&#x27;s where you&#x27;re wrong. It&#x27;s white people pushing this b.s. Then they find a handful of black people to make the face of it, as if the notion was created in the black community. Then a bunch of politicians, mostly white, get to weigh in. It&#x27;s a lay up for them  it allows them to show "they care" about a specific demographic by supporting something they know good and well will never become a real issue. Yet they ignore the fact that the notion creates contempt for that group. So you take a group many people already feel some type of way about and give people people another reason for denigration of that group based on something that will never happen anyway. Small minded people walk right into the trap.
