Portland maine addresses shelter concerns

Kristen Dow is orchestrating a 70 bed opening for homeless shelter concerns utilizing the Cumberland county jail system.

Shelter will be staffed with civilians not utilizing correctional officers unless security of homeless clients security concerns are needed. The facility will partner with regional direction partnering with treble street resources center and catholic charities of maine. In addressing shelter concerns as parts of our state brace for first winter storm warnings snow is expected this monday.

This will deter crime for survival needs tendencies within the homeless community. As example if a survivor hurled rocks at a police car he would be charged with aggravated criminal mischief a felony. As well as assaulting police with a hurled weopon.  Causing a disturbance leading to imminent safety concerns ect... then ad an inmate and the growing backlog of cases needing full trial by pressing for a full jury trial he or she could spend the winter inside three squares bedding clothing concerns addressed... 

This program if successfully implemented can advert this winter plan of quite a few  individuals..
