He is a student at Berkeley. Facing displinary action. The girl activist background is a bit of a stretch unless it is a very new group.
If she really is a social justice activist that man damigo is gone to have a hard time of things. Activists are notorious for passive aggressive tactics and are not easily deterred from bringing their own sense of Justice to restitute the direct physical violence of a fellow members injuries . physical or psychological they will get 'em.

The fundamental difference between conservatives and liberals is the role of self . liberal self is a reflection of the circumstances brought on by soicity and as such all actions can be blamed on ones upbringing and community and such has merit in its argument as example expecting a star ing orphan in Sudan to become an astronaut is not realistic
However conservative principles that self must be responsible for the choice they make hence another valid argument while assuming that one has a choice when it comes to survival.

In schools most attention is given to the most affluent this is done to give more attention to those who can actually pay for college. Most college prep classes are reserved to those who can afford their own lunch and milk money. Where prep and ap honors classes have a student count of 10-1 teacher student ratio and graduation an additional .20 is multiplied to there grade point average in effort to boost academic stAndings at graduation where general studies can be as crowded as 30-1 . furthering the division is that all middle class jobs need a college degree firthiring the division of habea and haves not.
So we now have a failing institution education based on antiquated idea of college funding.
Politics is not the answer to any of this bit a new approach to the architecture of learning. We should not pay the most and get the lowest test scores.

Or the knowledge of this known but not mentioned policy should be made known to the students parents if your kid gets free lunch it will save you 7.50 a week but you are sentencing your child to a life of abject poverty.
