Oregonians "Freaking Out" Over New Law That Requires You To Pump Your Own Gas
Mercy, brother. I can think of dozens of things that should be left to trained, qualified people.
1. Boiling water
2. Flushing the toilet
3. Opening a bag of potato chips
4. Touching the power button symbol on any electronic device
5. Answering a ringing phone
The list could be endless and create, jobs, jobs, jobs. Unemployment at 0%. Many thanx to Oregon; the rest of the country never would have thought of it.

What's this country coming to huh? That leaves New Jersey as the lone holdout on this mind boggling everyday task.

What the hell are you talking about? "lone holdout"? Do you honestly think there are 49 states that require people to pump their own gas?

It used to drive me nuts crossing through Oregon, pulling into a station, getting out, grabbing the fuel nozzle, and then being verbally chastised by some gung-ho Gomer Pyle attendant, telling me that only he was allowed to squeeze a metal handle by law.
