Talks have progressed to a summit next week as South Korea and North Korea begin a full armistice of the Korean War. Expect our industrial war machine to find some way to sabotage this.

Kim un now states it will not test any more nuclear weapons or icbms as of April 21 in the wake of the upcoming summit. 

North Korea claims it will focus on rebuilding the socialist economy and has no need to demonstrate the weapons capabilities.

North Korea temporarily suspends nuclear and missile tests but didn't promise to give up its nuclear arsenal.  No need for more tests after completing mission of weaponizing nuclear arms.  Besides, underground test site may be unuseable because of earthquakes and tunnel collapses. 

According to Heritage foundation, North Korea has always broken past denuclearization promises.  Since 1985, 8 agreements have been violated.  United nations sanctions have been imposed since 2006.  Whether sanctions really work remain to be verified.  North Korea might just be stalling for time.
