What you don't understand is this whole endorsement thing. Endorsements and large donations in politics come when a possible political member agrees to push an agenda or give tax payer money to a specific companies if they are elected to "stimulate the economy" or "stop climate change." I'm not saying that money shouldn't be spent on these important topics, but there needs to be a better selection process than this.
