There's a company, D&G Support Services LLC whose government contract evidently won't be renewed. They provide a number of services including logistical expertise. The contract was 3 years for 8 million & ended this year. They provided Tech Support to the Office of Diversity & Civil Rights & I believe that area no longer exists.
The way I understand it, DOGE produced a document stating their savings, mostly from cancelled contracts. Dupree provides a document involving the company above where DOGE is taking credit for 8 billion in savings. The contract was only for 8 million.
I'm sure this was a clerical error, right? A million here ... a billion there

Seems to me attacking DEI related agencies & contracts is an attractive move for the deplorables. Unless of course they are personally impacted via a job loss or a government contract. Hard to imagine that no deplorable has been impacted. When the pain hits home it's a whole different story.
However, the real money to be saved & waste exposed/ended is in the Big Stuff. And cost cutting alone does not breed improved efficiency. And ending contracts for services previously rendered doesn't make life better for any citizen. Instead, less services will be available from the federal government.
