CD-No way can even you believe your own statement that everyone is happy with the current system...I don't think that's what you meant, but it's what you said...I make a good living, but have seen my employer drop the percentage that he is picking up every year for the last 5 or 6.  He used to eat 80% of the cost.  This year he is down to 60.  It's not feasible for employers to pick up this additional cost without throwing that cost back on the consumer, and we all know where that leads.  His small group plan has probably doubled over the last few years.  In Maryland, as i understand it, companies are lumped into groups when it comes to rates.  My employer has less than 50 on the plan, very few claims, but we can't keep our rates down. 

Nothing that hasn't been said a thousand times before, but government takeover is OBVIOUSLY not the answer.  The question is why have policy makers decided to leap over any other possible alternatives and try to ram this garbage down our throats.

you just wait and see what your costs are going to be once govt gets involved in this.  They have shown time and time again to fuck things up and increase costs.  Hey if the people want it, thats fine, but dont come crying when your costs go thru the roof more then what insurance companies are charging.  They left out 2 important things out of the bill that could have reduced costs.  tort reform and buying across state lines.  Why did they leave these two important cost cutting things out of the bill?  because they dont give a shit about reducing costs, they just want their hands on the helathcare system so they can give their family, friends and lawyers jobs.

American tax payers and insurance buyers are in for the biggest raping this country has ever seen and its a real shame people arent using a common sense approach to looking at this bill.  These dumb pricks are voting on a bill they havent even read, how stupid is that?  A bill created by a couple of extreme underground liberal groups.  Now were all gonna suffer because of these whacked out groups.  Oh well life goes on i guess.

also RJ, iam a registered democrat and have been for over 20 years.  But iam considering going back to the republican party because the democratic party is not what it used to be anymore.  Now its a bunch of extreme liberal nutcases with these extreme ideas.  And unlike you am able to vote for the person not the party.

I made a huge mistake voting with the party and Obama, hopefully him and his whacked out people will be gone after one term

theres lots of views that make me a democrat.  Am sorry but this current democratic party is way to liberal for me and thats why i have been leaning to the right.  I like to be right in the middle and this party is way to left now.   DJ, sorry am not onboard for the healthcare bill, i would like to see people get helped, but this bill is going to fuck over everybody in the country and its going to cost alot more then the hikes the isnurance companies hit us with. If it turns out am wrong, i will be right back here and say am wrong, but am 100 percent certain thsi bill is going to cost us more then we ever imagined it could.  Honestly am shocked that you cant see thru this big pile of shit, but then again when this bill is gonna help lawyers out bigtime why would you.  No tort reform and no buying across state lines, yup the democrats are really trying to save money, what a friggin joke this party is

who the hell actually wants this bill passed besides the politicians and people who dont have insurance?   Theres been only one yes vote and it was done by the guy who lives in denmark.

It appears from this vote, that the average regular guy who has a job and insurance dont want this piece of shit bill passed and arent to concerned with insurance costs going up or they would have voted yes to the questions.

Truth is the majority of people in our country who have a job and insurance dont want this bill passed.  Now if only the politicians would start doing what the majority of people want, instead of catering to what the minority of people want.   if 2 people dont want this bill and 1 person does want the bill, then there shouldnt be a bill.  Why are we catering to what the one person wants?
