*- $ 15 Minimum wage has been a bust in Seattle. Studies have found that it has hurt the poor instead of helped. Because employers can't afford the hikes in compensation and payroll taxes.
Libs- This should be no surprise. You didn't have to be an economist, to do the math. Too much too fast. I'm all for an increase, but not that much.
*- Independent study shows that 22 million less people will have insurance coverage under the GOP's Health Care plan than under Obamacare come 2026.
GOP- Just tweek Obamacare a little and stop lining your rich's friends pockets. Try putting country ahead of party for once.

wages are relevant to living costs. if wages go up as will living costs.
simple dynamic of cause and effect or Nancy Pelosi stutteredaction reaction. If wages go up drastically. then cause is hirer costs for employment if you get 15 to flip a burger thus a carpenter doing more skilled labor must demand a higher wage for set skill and tools.
back to the micro oregons bottle bill. a human can count and bag to count about 1000 per hour a 3.5 cent handling fee is addressed to sort this material. if costs for labor is 15.00 more than 2 cents will go to pay labor . however taxes will go up on the structure cause it forces town to pay more do the dynamics of wage fairness. hence everything is driven with all must have a wage to survive.
then people living on fixed income become even more marginalized. their wage for retirement will not go up and hence their buying worth is effectively less then before .
artificially by law driving wages up far above inflationary compensation has a very negative result to quality of living as a whole. if targeted growth is 1.5 % it should not reflect in a sustained fixed minimum and then a 75% escalation in areas not ready for the spike in correction.
a more porlonged graduation to minimum can be asorbed, but such drastic fix it now mentality it hard to find common ground in sustained economic growth and sustained social justice and still be noticed in the sec sec media world we now find our selves .

thought of a better analogy if you are headed for the ditch, and you can see in a few miles you will crash, so you then jerk the wheel back to center line and flip it ...
