They see that Trump is winning swaths of the popular vote and consider him a demagogue and a non binded candidate. They know he will sweep the northeast next week, and like Wisconsin, they wanted a grassroots foothold to stop the Trumpkins in their momentum sweep across the US. Apparently it is legal to ban all Trump supporters if the party says so I the current Colorado primary system. Any lawsuit would only effect the next primary in 2020. Extreme measures were taken in response to Trumps overwhelming support amongst voters.

Looks like we need the UN to monitor our third world corrupt elections.

    "CANT STOP TRUMP!"
    "CANT STOP TRUMP!"....

    Oh yeah...

I think it's funny that the community organizer talking point as used for Obama to point out a lack of experience by the GOP but then the GOP now is supporting someone with no experience at all. It just completely takes the credibility away from the selective outrage.

What's interesting to me is that Cruz basically represented antiestablishment as a tea party person but now looks establishment on comparison to a crazy like trump.

And what has Cruz been doing the last 8 years and beyond?

He was busy working making America better and fighting the Obama establishment. The best predictor of future behavioris past behavior.

What exactly has trump done to make America better?

As a new member of the non partisan independent club, I find your comments not only insightful, but 100% spot on.   I highly doubt the usual suspects would ever bring up that point about the community organizer having more political experience than the current GOP front runner.

    U mad bro?

    Lol

When did I ask this before?  Let alone 10 times? Lol

It's funny to see 165yds make up lies

Yeah we get it, tons of jobs outsourced over seas.  Both past and present behavior with his products which are made places other than USA.  So future prediction based on past/current is that trump will promote outsourcing jobs

I voted for Obama in 2008 but did not in 2012.

Historically I Leaned conservative but once I came on covers and saw that being GOP meant I had to be an angry bigotted racist liar closet case wacko Nutjob I became a non-partisan independent

So I guess I've learned a lot from Sara and the rest of the usual suspects.

Funny how the OP has dodged my question.

Funnier even how the OP dodging the question has resulted in others recognizing he is getting owned and needing to be bailed out.

At least it looks like they recognize that he is getting owned so badly that he needed to be bailed out. If not they wouldn't have come rushing in

    My thinking this election is:

Anyone but Hillary and I've been saying this for a long time

Anyone but trump, his own party even believes in this and I've been saying this for a long time too

And now anyone but sanders.  I think he is all theory and theory I don't agree with and can't vote for him.

So it looks like I'm kinda stuck with Cruz by default.  Wish I had better choices but neither party is providing that.

Sen. Cruz is only pretending to be an establishment hack lapdog to lull them into a false sense of security, and then WHAM! He will usher in outsider politics! (Sarcasm from conservative pundit)

Where did voters get these pie-in-the-sky ideas that their votes matter? Frankly the GOP doesn't need you until November! Paul Ryan 2016!

If you think about it, it's Trump's fault for not hiring slimy GOP Toadies to help navigate through the schemes of other slimy GOP toadies (conservative pundit)

Cruz is even more dangerous than Trump. Polls have shown Kasich has the best chance against Clinton in the general election and yet....., it's either Kasich or well, Johnson for me.

weren't you just telling me last week that I was crazy when I said that I do not think the GOP will give Trump the nomination even if he reaches the delegate threshold?

You said that I watch too much liberal news outlets and that I was crazy.

Yet in this thread you seem to be suggesting that the very scenario I raised may happen.

Maybe so. but either way regardless of the sarcasm or not the very things you bring up in the first post means that it is not only the liberal media that is suggesting Trump will not be allowed the nomination.

    Quote from twttersphere:

--The system is beginning to uncloak. I have told people for years that I believed the election process was a game of manipulation to achieve the desired results. Usually, they work the manipulation game on an propaganda level to change minds. Typically, this works. When that doesn't work, they go for more "overt" means just as we saw here in Colorado. All the way to the point where you actually have politicians telling you that your vote doesn't count and they pick the candidate.

No votes from the people.......the bought out politicians decide who will win. These people are supposed to be elected representatives of the people yet those men are not representing the will of the people because the people haven't even been allowed to speak. Wars were fought over ideas such as these."

The GOP Chair in Colorado has said he's received death threats and being bombarded on Facebook and social media--David House I believe--and I for one think he's a crooked individual who celebrated "We did it!" and deleted the tweet right after he posted it. He and a handful of others blocked all Trump voters from voting, because of course--YOU HAVE TO HAVE A POSITION IN THE PARTY to be a voter and do as they say or else....you drive for hours to vote, wait all day to vote, then be told you're being replaced as a delegate because you're voting for Trump. WOW That really happened.

Some say it's happening on the Demo side trying to stop Bernie from being the nominee.

We don't trust the people here. There is no DEMOCRACY here. Need the UN to monitor our Third world corrupt elections.

    Won't happen.

There's lots of distortion out there.

People talk about how Trump won't make it. Ask yourself, why are there no stories about how Cruz has no chance?

Fact is, Cruz has ZERO chance to win out the 1237 delegates.
His whole campaign now is to be the official party spokesperson at the podiums. Even if he lacks connectivity (face lacks human expression), the RNC would rather go down on principles than back a "liberal" who "likes Putin" and "needs to more effectively mask racist sentiments when campaigning in the South like historically all Repubs have done...".

The fiasco in Colorado was the 15 minutes of fame for House and his cohorts. It won't stop Trump and they know it. 60% in polls, means Cruz gets a distant third. Katich will get more delegates than the FAKE TEXAN.
