you would think that NRA, ACLU or similar organizations would be up in arms about this...
I could see a restriction for someone with a conviction concerning a crime involving a gun... but alot of these are non-violent crimes that have nothing to do with guns and their rights are stripped...
I also believe that criminals convicted of crimes involving a gun are probably the least likely to honor the fact that their felony charge stops them from being able to possess a gun...
