So I take it you would support this party!
My reason for posting that link was to show some of the similarities of the those people back then with some of today, back then it was the Irish immigrants today it is the Arabs. Now your video did bring up some interesting views and points but I don't think it is accurate as it doesn't account for the population pyramid or the benifits that immigration can provide

This is somewhat of a red herring. I don't think I have said anything about or know anyone that has advocated for NO IMMIGRATION.
I agree with the numbers agreed upon in the first part of the video I presented. I think 250k is a reasonable number of legal immigrants per year.
I don't think we can take in a huge number of people from countries that have had their government structure fall apart and pay for almost every aspect of their existence. Especially if those people want to change our culture to match the one they came from that fell apart. It's difficult enough for us to support our own people with varying differences in ambition.
I don't think immigration is a bad thing. I think too much immigration is detrimental to our society as a whole.
