I am happy Pelosi isn't rushing to trial. There is a reason the GOP wants this done so quickly. Is it because Nunes and others are also deeply involved? I would take all of the time the rules allow right down to the very last millisecond... Even if she don’t pull the cover of this mass hypnotic charade I’m content with the probable outcome of The republicans in the senate voting not to remove Trump from office but this doesn't negate the impeachment. Trump has been impeached, that never goes away...NEVER,

Madame Pelosi and hold back the articles of impeachment..if she wishes ...However,it could back-fire. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.could call her bluff...
The proceedings and customs of the Senate impeachment trial can be
changed at any time. The Senate, with its “sole power” to try
impeachments, can vote by a simple majority to change almost all of the
rules. In fact, if it wanted to, the Senate could refuse to vote on
articles of impeachment entirely and simply dismiss the case.
Sit on them articles Madame Speaker and lets see how it turns out for you...

History tells us the mark of impeachment for a president isn't all bad...
After being impeached by the House of Representatives, President Bill Clinton jumped to 73% job approval rating from the American public, the highest rating of his administration, and one of the higher
job approval ratings given any president since the mid-1960s.
