Humanitarian logistics.

the president or pope doesnt snap his fingures say let it come to pass and light speed this can happen as an act of weirding.

Jesus yes pope well not so much.

however how this can be done in rapid response to the starvation.

we usa citizens have strategic reserves in grain for sale at a pricw dictated by the government. We can raise the money buy the product load in bags (like sand bags in the gulf flood protection ( americorp)) put on pallets load in dumpster 30 tons put in cargo plane and ship it as we load vessels for sustained response due to fund raising concwerns of UNICEF.....

one ton of grain is 10 a bushel bushel is 50 pounds.

40 bushels is a ton of wheat.

costs 400 pallet costs 10.00 and say labor would taske a man 4 hours comfortably at 15 an hour to load bags of grain seal bag with cloth stictcher and pallet it so a full ton on a pallet is around 500.

shipping a ton is out rageous ..

food could be donated, cost for shipping fund raising event could materialize, to even half ton of medical and food donated to representative, ngo on the front lines of sudnese famine. for immediate impact during the easter fund raising season.

with realistic media coverage if horizon window unfolds for favorable oppurtunity on publicy for other activist causes.

imagine you little class making the featured section of the evening broadcast for shipping 100 lbs of medical supplies to dr without borders south sudan mission, or unicef in sudan.

it would actually build team work as problem solving skills of sctually designing a box would need to be addressed in one of those illaburate but local oddessy of the mind explorations. the food and supplies water donated the fund raising to pay for the shipping each would need to be considered and addressed by independent teams working independently on collective goal. to ship food and care to the needed over the april vacation weekend.

or if you feel Human beings are suffering right here in the USA.

and their concerns should be addressed first.

same program to send food to food pantry soup kitchens with in the community that is raising donations eliminates harsh shipping charges and donates the recourse gathered directly to with in the community

efforts are focused ( super markets pull products before expiration by a month this food can be used with in the context of immediate community needs.
