so...college kids go door to door. 500 of them in Iowa in the next few weeks. people make calls for his campaign from home all over the country. local volunteer groups stand on the sides of busy highways and flash RP signs for an hour

Its nice that you like the guy, I dont fault you for being motivated to act how you feel it will help, I just disagree that he is anything different from what already exists.
For how strongly you feel for him, you have never been able to answer questions that would provide clarity and detail to WHY you like the guy..I think we both know that he does not have real answers only concepts and ideas..which pretty much puts him in the box with the rest of the squirrels.

Have you even read any of Ron Paul's proposals or listened to him for the past decade?
His knowledge about the economic crisis was superior to any candidate running in 2008 and 2012 predicting exactly what would happen. He's been predicting the problems would occur for decades. Under your belief system, you want to continue with the same failed policies that caused the crisis, even though you now know what caused them, and you should have known before because Ron Paul was warning you.
If your business is spending more than it is taking in, do you just allow that to continue even though you already know the reasons why? Under your belief system a business should continue spending money on useless things, go further into debt, instead of stopping it immediately. I'm sure glad you do not work for me!
