You're part of the solution? This the biggest laugh in this thread.
Actually, it is your assertion that you're reasonable.
But feel free to keep going.

some of these guys havent learned yet, that corporations create jobs, not Presidents
Hilarious.
I bet you said that when Bush was President.
Clinton too.
Do you ever get tired of being so dishonest?
Obama could have taken credit for getting unemployment to 0 and creating millions of jobs
Of course silly statements like this prevent you from realizing the reality that Obama's policies are a disaster.
Don't worry, you'll be one of the 41% voting for him next year.

So when the Obama Administration said that the stimulus would create jobs, were they lying, or not informed?
When Joe Biden specifically said he expects to see up to 500,000 jobs a month created (that was in 2009) was he lying, or not informed?
It will be funny to watch the lies you tell in an attempt to process those questions.

The Texas miracle is more like an illusion akin to a false-front Western town. Looks nice till you get a closer look. There's not much behind the thin veneer. See how Texas really stacks up:

And of course your "source" is a left wing Internet site.
Bravo.
PS, that makes you "reasonable"

I dont think they were lying, i think they really didnt understand that they had the power to do such a thing.
Really? So Joe Biden, who has been in government for over 30 years, doesn't understand the limits of government power?
It will be funny to watch the lies you tell yourself in order to justify your political beliefs.

See how Texas really stacks up:
And of course nowhere in that link is it explained or data presented that the jobs created are "minum wage jobs"
I'm shocked by this development.

I love this. Only in an attempt to defend the worst economic record in that last 80 years would someone say "those jobs aren't that good"
That is just too funny.

Now let's all furrow our brow and wonder about the "stubborn" unemployment rate:
President Barack Obama says his administration is considering seven new government regulations that would cost the economy more than $1 billion each a year, a tally Republicans will pounce on to argue that Congress needs the power to approve costly government rules.
In a letter to House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, Obama lists four proposed Environmental Protection Agency rules and three Department of Transportation rules estimated to cost in excess of $1 billion. One of the proposed EPA rules — an update to the health-based standard for smog — is estimated to cost the economy between $19 billion and $90 billion.

Just because you don't like the messenger doesn't mean the message is incorrect.
Texas has the highest rate of workers paid at or below the federal minimum wage and themedian hourly wage is 10% lower than the national average.

Another Obama economy failure:
Solyndra announces it plans to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy, is suspending operations and seeks a reorganization
Solyndra was touted by the Obama administration as a prime example of how green technology could deliver jobs. The President visited the facility in May of last year and said "it is just a testament to American ingenuity and dynamism and the fact that we continue to have the best universities in the world, the best technology in the world, and most importantly the best workers in the world. And you guys all represent that. "
The federal government offered $535 million in low cost loan guarantees from the Department of Energy.

UberDog,
who has a higher median hourly wage, the 2.4-million people who have lost their jobs since Obama was sworn in or the 220,000 people who have landed a job in Texas in 2011?

14--you're always too quick to blame Obama for everything. It's your go-to response on every issue, in every post. You lose credibility with me because of this. So I will end my involvment with this thread by answering the question your title posed: I'm doing great in the "Obama Economy," better than during the Bush years or the Clinton era. Obama has little or no impact on my life. This is why I disagree with you on your general disposition against Obama. I believe a job is more of an individual matter--career choice, education, ambition, goals---than even health care. You want to blame unemployment on the president---which strikes me as a contradiction to the pro-individual stance of a typical conservative. I say the unemployed have a lot to do with why their unemployed--untrained, untrainable, unwilling to relocate or learn new ways of doing things, undereducated, unsuitable for the available job markets and ultimately--uncreative and even unmotivated.

I questioned this roadblock when I first read about it and saw it reported on CNBC. However, this article in Bloomberg has me thinking the consumers might come out on top. This writer makes a lot of sense about how the merger would have squashed competition and ultimately the best in products, service and price for consumers.
