Politico called the comparison "almost ludicrous."

"Never in modern presidential politics has a major candidate made false statements as routinely as Trump has," the L.A. Times declared on page one of Sunday's paper.

Politico is a left wing outfit and you are left of left yourself?  Why?    and The LA Times?

80 points at pinnacle, which is probably the best indicator of the current state of the race out of anything, certainly better than 5dimes.

what the darn did trump do at this thing?  some people said he was high on cocaine.  did he do some lines on stage or just do it pregame like LT used to do.

Unlike media, betting markets have relatively unbiased stand at the candidates. By judging the uptick of HRC odds from betting market, she was doing better than Donald Trump last night.

yes, as always, if you want the best indicator of each candidate's chances of winning or whether that candidate is improving or declining, check pinnacle.

It was a two against one attack last night.  Holt who is a registered Republican looked like he was angling for a spot in her cabinet,  He was directly responsible for the questions and ever asked her about her emails, Benghazi or that sham if not criminal foundation her and Slick have

Quit making excuses for Trump, he is a big boy and can handle it even if it was 2 on 1..

Sounds like some crying in this thread, why make excuses for Trump it isnt like his flaws are some new thing..he is an obnoxious, brash, egomaniac moron and of course he lies, he does it all the time.

As if the debates are actually going to change anyones mind about these 2 candidates.... She has a 30-year record of accomplishing nothing positive...

He didn't need to. Every right wing committee from the stat of time has already investigated these things.

Why such a black and white emotional view about it.  The debate format is a problem for Deceptive Donald because you can score off of the 90 min of the debate a head to head comparison of who is the biggest liar.

And it is not an Internet rumor or something spun by a talking head. It is simply displaying to the entire nation and world a side by side of comparison and who is the biggest liar.

Byt even amoungst the numerous lies lies lies of Deceptive Donald, the thing that lost the most creditbility was him trying to tell me how good his temperament was in words but then in actions his looks unglued as he pivots on every stressful question or issue into an emotional angry attack mode rather than being able to show temperament of being able to handle stress in a poised and constructive manner toward progress.

To me this was the biggest lie for Deceptive Donald who showed the nation and the world the clear disconnect between his words and his actions.  So basically everything else he is claiming and saying about himself is just lumped in to more deception and hypocracy.   Clearly Deceptive Donald cannot be trusted and it's almost insulting to think anyone would actually believe what he says about Temperment when he can't actually show it.   Was such a poor strategy for Deceptive Donald to boast his weakness in Temperment and then do so poorly with his Temperment on center stage

Yeah I saw that, of course I do not read the newspaper at all, I dont care what they print...down here it is so one sided and sloppy why even bother.

I think this speaks on what a horrible candidate Trump is, that even in a state where blind stupid people keep voting in stupid leaders (like Arpaio) that Trump is so awful they would risk ruffling the conservative majority here and choose an equally awful Clinton.

ClubDirt neglected to issue a "sarcasm alert" with his comment.  HRC was the first Democrat the Arizona Republic endorsed since its founding in 1890.

I grew up in Phoenix and we subsribed to the AR.  I lived there 19 years and never read one editorial with which I agreed.

Exactly ,,,like Donald Trump said Tuesday in Melborne, Fla.... to a fired-up record breaking crowd of more than 15,000 supporters...

"She (Hillary) is the candidate of yesterday, and ours is the campaign and the people of the future," Trump said. "She's an insider, fighting only for her donors and insiders. I'm an outsider fighting for you."

The Arizona Republic like The Cincinnati Enquirer are owned by Gannett Company..wait till these dying dinosaurs see the subscription cancellations ,,advertisers cancel and subscribers let their subscriptions run out and not renew.

Newsprint is dead and these newspapers are only good for fish wrap....

i never understood why someone would base their decision on a newspaper's endorsement, but i guess these papers think it means something since they always publish their endorsements.

anyway, some people in AZ aren't taking this well.  people need to settle down.  life goes on no matter who wins these things.

actually, i think it does matter in local elections as so many people have no clue who their local politicians are or what they are up to.  but for president, hard to imagine too many people put much stock in it.
