Wrong... If you receive assistance in any way shape or form from Uncle Sam you're on government assistance... I can't believe it takes 3 of us to explain that to you.

Look, i'm not a Trump basher. I want him to do well. All i'm saying is that right now he's been more false claims and tweets than actual results. It is still early and I wouldn't expect to see the results I speak of for another year...two years...five years...seven years...because that's how things work. And i'm fine with that. What bothers me is when he,  and memebers of his "base" make claims that are skewed if not utterly false. All i'm saying is let's wait and see. In 2-6 years I hope to revisit this thread and say, "You know, Tox, you were right. He has been good for African- Americans, and all Americans. I'm not asking for special treatment. I want him to be good for outr country as a whole. I'm really sick and tired of the racial divisiveness.

Trump’s plan is the correct plan. Jobs, jobs, jobs. 

Outsourcing our manufacturing was a big mistake. It benefited the 1% and destroyed the middle class. 

Now he just wants things to be fair in trade. If they tax our cars at 25%, we should tax theirs at 25%. It should be even across the board. It’s not even close to even. 

His vision is the right vision for America. And because black people are Americans, his vision will be good for them. 

What’s terrible for black people is to be force fed a false narrative that you’re up against it because of the color of your skin. That’s not true, and it’s very destructive. 

If you look at the median income by race it’s easy to see who will be the most effected by illegal immigrants. It isn’t Asians. 

I understand when you say it takes time.  Sure it does.  But it has already had an initial impact. 

Yes, it can be argued employment rates are lagging result.  But it is what it is.  When you are in charge of a company or country --- you get credit for the good and the blame for the bad.  If not Trump's policies or anticipation --- what then?

And obviously we just looked at education rates and extrapolating can see the skill/unskilled also.  So, this is not propaganda as much as it seems.  It is fact.  What needs to be discussed is how you fix that. 

I'm not saying it necessarily takes that long to see results. What i'm saying is any president deserves that amount of time (the 5-7 years contingent on him winning a second term, obviously), they deserve that time to see what fruits their policies have beared. We live in a very hyper-stimulated time where everyone in on their cell phones so forth screaming, "now, now, now..." and things just don't work that way.

Yet security in our schools isn't the answer. 

Maybe you have been forced to make that argument in the past but it was unnecessary in this debate. It had no bearing on what we were talking about.

And frankly, racial injustice, prejudice, ect. is still pervasive today and does stagnate the advancement of African Americans. This is undebatable. With that said, it is also undebatable that equally detrimental, if not more so, is the notion, often put forth by liberals, that "The man is holding you down."

Where we differ, and the reason you come off as racist(i've never said this that I know of), is your vitriol often seems targeted specifically at African Americans whereas I am mad at the the system as a whole. African Americans are part of that system so we are partially to blame for our own situation but that proverbial "man" that's always holding us down is a real thing, and part of said system as well. The media is part of said system, perpetuating those feelings of injustice and sowing the seeds of divisiveness. They are probably the worst of all. So why I agree that, as a race, looking for someone to blame is not going to help us, I also contend that the notion that, "Black people just need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. They're just not trying hard enough." is both inflammatory and utterly wrong.

Now on to jobs, jobs, jobs. They are good for Americans. All Americans. As I've said many times before, contrary to what conservative media would have us believe, unemployment had been on a steady decline, and job creation had been a steady incline, under Obama. So the notion that Obama was bad for jobs, and all of a sudden Trump shows up and he's good for jobs, is fake news.

Look i'm not here to defend Obama nor defame Trump. I'm not a leftie nor a rightie. I'm an indie, who usually trends more towards the conservative. I want what's best for our country and I don't care if we get there under a slick talking black dude or a billionaire playboy.

Two young men apply to an apprenticeship, one white, one black. Same age, similar socio-economic backgrounds and school records, similar experiece. The business agent for the union is a white nationalist. Who gets accepted? Maybe he's not a white nationalist. Maybe he's just white. Who gets accepted? This is just human nature. However, as I stated before, we both agree that the notion of, "the man is holding me down..." has an equal if not greater negative effect. And the media, and politicians like Hillary Clinton, and past their prime civil rights activist like Al Sharpton, are probably public enemies number 1 through 3.
