Also, if the kid wants to shoot up the school bus or any other bus, it's nearly impossible to stop that just like going into a church. The discussion is protecting school children in SCHOOL.

When you answer my questions about funding training (since many city schools have trouble even staying open or keeping the heat on in the winter), what the protocol should be when a weapon is spotted whether real or fake(toy gun, airsoft) should be I will I give you answer to your silly little 'which classroom' question.
And what about buses and churches? If you're gonna arm the teachers why not arm the bus drivers and the choir boys, right?

The discussion is about schools. Certainly, teachers will volunteer that feel they can handle it. They all take courses in concealed carry training centers (I have near me), so I'm sure it's not that expensive or it take weeks of training. All the schools that can't keep the heat on are usually run by corrupt democrats (see Baltimore & Chicago), not my problem they suck at running everything.

Would you rather hide under your desk when a teacher is pointing a gun at the door or sit there with your dk in your hand waiting to be slaughtered? Better to have a gun and not need one than need one and not having one...
If the teachers were armed 2 weeks ago do you think he would've been so successful killing 17 and injuring 20 more? If someone was just shooting back, he wasn't going to keep going forward. Even an insane little fk like him knows no one has a gun, can't you understand that basic concept?

"not my problem they suck at running everything"...Again you take shots at who runs the schools instead of answering the simple questions. Who cares who runs the schools? Why do you insist on making every about one side or the other?
You'd feel comfortable sending your kid to a room with a teacher who has had 'a few weeks of training'? That's a disingenuous statement. If there is a teacher with access to a gun in a room he or she had damn well better have hours upon hours of education and practice on it. What happens if Mrs. Kersey panics or freezes? She is a teacher, not a soldier or a cop. You are only shifting the odds slightly in your favor.
Personally if it's me, and I'm a student in a classroom and I hear shooting down the hall my @ss is jumping out the window or barricading the entry points.
Who knows if the teachers were armed if he would have had as many casualties. If he's insane do you think he cares about living or dying?

Let's start with this....There is no perfect solution and there is no possible way to take guns away from every person who should not have them. Nobody is going door to door to take away peoples guns, anyone with half a brain cell knows that, yet the NRA loves to say that could happen and people like packers1992 believe it.
That being said there can be stricter enforcement of who is eligible to buy guns and who is not. If someone gets a DUI they can't get a CDL. Why is it if someone has a criminal record or history of mental illness they can still legally get a gun. That has to stop. Take some notes from the Canadian system. Person to person sales at gun shows probably needs to be stopped or a seller's accountability agreement of some sort has to be implemented. If you sell a gun to someone who uses it to commit a crime you will be charged as an accessory. It make the seller commit to the proper channels of background checks and make people think twice about who they are dealing with.
Age restrictions... Yeah I could see making that tougher for certain weapons.
FBI databases... Heard one gentlemen say there is too much info going to one central place and it needs to be more regional. Makes perfect sense.

Nothing to see here Detox (in Pennsylvania)... It'll gain as much traction as the Democratic Party buying a FISA warrant against their opponent, bs'ing the court in the process, but why should they be any different than everybody else.
