Trump always said the vaccine was close. Releasing the “cure” Monday morning after the election results are in was on purpose. These statements don’t contradict one another. I know this is complicated. It isn’t easy for everyone to keep up.

Children are not "resistant" or "immune" if they are catching the virus, and dying (although at a much lower rate). He used it to downplay the severity of the virus as we all know to meet his political agenda goal of fully re-opening all schools. Like you said we do not have enough facts to making such blanket statements, but again "immune" is not the right word.

Like I said, resistant is probably better used but his point isn't lost by him using "virtually immune." What was that point is the question. We were talking about the timing of vaccination press releases. He came out of left field with that. Why? To say kids should be in school? It's valid.
