I'm in no way a Trump fan but after watching the democratic debate last night I can't see him losing. Barring a huge fumble I just don’t see any other outcome.

joe...In 2018 Trump had the worst electoral defeat in the House with 44.8% which resulted in 41 seats gained by the Democratic Party. I believe this trend will continue but in 2020 the seats gained will also be in the Senate IMO.
I also believe more damaging information will come out regarding Trump & his administration which will result in Americans realizing a change is NECESSARY in the WH when November rolls around this year.
I'm not crazy about any of the candidates myself right now but this farking POS has to go!

There are 35 Senate seats up for grabs in 2020. Also 3 incumbent Republicans (Enzi-WY; Alexander-LA; Roberts-KS) and 1 Democrat Udall-NM are not running for office.
23 of these 35 seats are Republican. Democrats will have to gain 4 seats to gain control of the Senate. Susan Collins, Cory Gardner, Thom Tillis, Martha McSally, Kelly Loeffler & Joni Ernst are all vulnerable in 2020 IMO.
Tighten your seat belt.

I’m with you ! But I try to accept what I see and not let my heart cloud my mind ....If I allowed that I’d need treatment for Trumpitiss! What irks me more is the thought that so many people fail to see this hucksters for the carnival side show that he is. It’s hard comprehend how his voting base swallow he imaginary facts like there the word of a higher being form Mt Olympus? I don’t get it .

31 Democrats in the House are up for reelection in districts won by Trump 2016. Do you think this impeachment effort to remove Trump from office has helped the Democrat's cause ? Perhaps the poor showing in the Iowa caucuses is a clue to how disenfranchised the party has become.

It certainly didn't hurt their cause. Independents realize Trump is a thief and a fraud and they will decide the 2020 election.
Many of the 100 million who did not vote in 2016, won't make the same mistake in 2020. I think most Republicans are concerned about losing the Senate after their gutless decision not to hear from witnesses during the trial. More and more damming information will continue to leak out during the year which certainly won't help Trump. The Trump Party will vote for him no matter what but that will not be enough in 2020.

that is what I keep coming back to again and again...…..how can there be so many people that cannot see what a train-wreck this is, everything he says whether it's lies or not they just take in like the gospel. And they think he really cares about some of these issues, he doesn't give a rats ASSS about that stuff, but if he says that he is bringing the coal mining industry back to Appalachia they will eat it up like cake. but you know these are the same people that truly believe in Qanon and a whole host of other conspiracy theories so it doesn't come as a surprise.
