Dude, what do you have against the illegal immigrants? Have you ever even been around them? They are the most hardworking, honest, group of people I've ever met. They don't cause trouble becuase they cannot afford to.
I grew up on a large cattle ranch in Texas. Back in the day, the hispanics were practically family.
Right now, unskilled people are using them a scapegoat for taking their jobs when in reality, very few people actually want those jobs anyway.
On a side note, the older I get, the much more tolerant I get about other cultures. You think you are special for some reason? Maybe because you came from a more priveleged or wealthier background. The immigrants are not going to stop coming here so just get used to them already.

You are correct to an extent, there are a lot of illegal immigrants who come here and work hard, stay out of trouble, and are very honest.
However, the money they make usually goes back to their family in Mexico. If their families are also here in the U.S. illegally their children are attending American schools and WE are paying for that in our taxes, NOT them. Also, if they need to go to the hospital, they go and for the most part we pay for it because they don't or can't, but, although some hospitals can deny them care without any type of insurance, most hospitals must provide them care regardless of their situation. Do you know how hospitals and doctors, etc. offset that free healthcare? They charge the rest of us more to offset what the "freeloaders" get.
AND, for the number of illegal immigrants who are "hardworking and honest" their are far more of them that take great advantage of us and our country; they manipulate the welfare system, the schools system, and healthcare programs like Medicaid.
If you think illegal immigrants just come here and do their part as citizens you are sorely mistaken. I lived around the border my entire life and I see everything first hand. One thing you might also not realize is that kids who live in Mexico actually attend American schools for free; I know this first-hand with students who live in Juarez and walk over the bridge every morning to go to school in El Paso. What they do is use an address of a family member who is a U.S. citizen or a Resident Alien or Permanent Resident in the U.S. so they can go to school for free in the U.S. I can tell you many, many stories. I also work in a bank and can tell you lots of stories there as well, prime example is illegal immigrants receiving SSI directly deposited into their bank accounts every month. I sure wish I could get an extra $600 or $800 a month for free courtesy of the American people...![]()
