I didn't fight in any war numb nuts...my grandfathers and my father always told me they served so I didn't have to. What wars I've fought in means absolutely nothing. That's a very idiotic statement if you ask me. Don't question my patriotism just because I didn't serve in the military. Bottom line: singing that song in place of the "Star Spangled Banner" is an absolute disgrace and a slap in the face to our country and all Americans.

I live on the U.S./Mexico border, I live in New Mexico and work in El Paso, Texas which borders directly with Juarez, Mexico. First off, I don't really know why you're even in this conversation because everybody in your country wants to be in my country. And that being said, who are the "freeloaders"??? Certainly not me or any of my family...

once again u avoid the issue - how have u been of service to your country? THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO SERVE BESIDES THE MILITARY.

if u live in new mexico, u may know a little about the history of how it became an American territory - propagandized history, of course, but still history. the state's name is a clue. u r on land forcibly taken from a neighbor, that was a new and developing democracy, so when 'they' come here remember that.

Ok, so are "they" coming over here because this WAS their land? Is that why "they" are coming over here??? Or, are they coming over here for other reasons (free healthcare, free education, free welfare)? AND, why do they also go to Tennessee, Kansas, Minnesota, Washington, etc., etc, etc.?
