U.S. District Judge William Pauley III today sentenced lying Michael Cohen to three years in prison..Cohen was sentenced for eight criminal counts he pleaded guilty to in August.

The sentencing was related to two separate cases brought by the Southern District of New York and Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.

He will serve a term concurrently with a two-month sentence he was given for lying to Congress about a possible Trump Tower project in Moscow, a charge leveled by Special Counsel Mueller.

Cohen has been ordered to surrender on March 6. He also was ordered to pay $1.4 million in restitution and a $50,000 fine, and forfeit $500,000.

The judge agreed to recommend Otisville Federal Correctional Facility, in Upstate New York, as the prison where Cohen will spend his time.

They actually have HBO &amp; Showtime available to watch on Friday &amp; Saturday night. Their commissary is like a delicatessen with kosher food etc. On the 4th &amp; other summer holidays, they have burger/franks cookouts.&#xA;It&#x27;s only 90 minutes outside NYC. His family can visit as often as they want. This doesn&#x27;t sound like justice has been served IMO.

White collar country club federal prisons don&#x27;t get the Bubba&#x27;s of this world. The feds and the judges always have to fear entering the system themselves and have certain facilities set aside for their own comfort and safety. The population tends to be 90% white and 90% college educated.

Trump surrounds himself with crooks and liars. For a corrupt leader, blind loyalty is more important than character and competence. Investigations have lead to multiple indictments, guilty pleas and convictions. Cohen's case just further diminishs Trump's credibility when he claims innocence. Most people don't believe Cohen act alone and Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator to defraud Americans.
