No, he's been about as terrible as I predicted and this presidency is comparable to Warren Harding's as I said ages ago, except that Trump is complicit in all of the illegal activity and Harding was a good and decent Republican who had morals and character. I suppose Trump can only improve so there's that.

1. because these people in government are especially incompetent. also, see #2
2. i honestly think the overriding agenda for republicans is twofold: staying in power and tax cuts for the rich. part of the problem, which is also relevant to answer #1 is that if you get carried away with the tax cuts, it's hard to get things passed and it might be hard to stay in power although you can never underestimate the average poor and middle class trump supporters dedication and perseverance towards getting those tax cuts for the rich at their own expense.
