Why do people go all in with flush draws

and dont give me that fold equity bullshit, there's none of that when it's obvious you're raising me all in with a flushdraw   Why do you do that, you aren't getting 4 to 1 on your money, WTF are you doing.  I call.

A flush draw with 2 to come is about 2 to 1 and yes there can be some fold equity depending on the situation and player.  It's almost never wrong to shove with a nut flush draw on the flop..

could not disagree more, odds on hitting a flush draw with two to go are 3:1 so you should call when your getting 3 times your money. As far as a shove depends on position, but more than likely u should wait and hit the flush and try and take it from your opponent.

hes absolutey right about the 2 to1 when youre playing on the rigged online poker sites. 1 to 1 for a schill who goes all in.

flopped trips in 3 different tourns at fulltilt yesterday before turn got put allin and they hit runner runner for there flush

or maybe soblatant is right there software wanted my $37.00  i may go allin if a-k a-q a-j suited not a small flush draw but that is me i try tp play a little cautious in tourns

flushes are perceived as all-powerful...people don't believe you will have a full house and if they hit their money card, the pot is shipped to them...straights even though 1 card less to hit your winning card, are perceived as much less powerful and 'shove-worthy'...just go in with the best hand and hope for the best...the majority of the time you will come out a winner and that's all that matters

i would not push all in unless somone pushed me in i go by instincts whether to call or not it is nice when your holding full house when somone goes all in ive been burned plenty by others fushin on river

When you have a set it is different, for the guy shoving you all in on the flop. He has fewer outs, and if the board pairs on the turn he is dead. On the river, he may have only 7 outs instead of the 9 that he thinks he does.

I never call an All-In (unless you have good odds of course) if I'm willing to risk all my chips I would rather shove b/c then you have two ways of winning (Fold/Better Hand)

I see people push with flush draws every day in cash games getting a little more than even money and it boggles my mind.  I'm trying to understand the psychology of it.

most of the time i would fold vegas maxx do not like goin allin tryin to catch
point i ammakin is if in a tourny and shortstacked you have to take a chance

I can see why player go all in with a flush draw in a tourney be cause you gotta gamble at some point. But it is insane to make that play in a cash game, and you will go broke.

Definitely some good points here

Shoving is much better than calling

Shoving a flush draw is definitely better in a tournament than a cash game.  I think the only time I'll get it allin in a ring game is if I have top pair and a flush draw, because if I get called I'm probably ahead most of the time.

the best time to push with a flush draw is when you believe you can get them off their hand.no your man.you also do it so people dont play back at you and you get more action on your good hands.raise the the guy who leads into you on the flop in position.even if he calls you will most likely get a free card on the turn.this works well in limit because of the structure of the betting.some times you want to build the pot because of the number of players.Implied odds.know the situation and think it threw.If you are to predictable you are a sucker.when you watch poker look for oppurtunitys that you could steal the pot.

1) shoving is always better than calling
2) if they just call and the flush hits, they wont get any action
3) fold equity obv

Cuz it's easy.  You just hit "all in" and let the cards decide.  And you can win by fold or by better hand.  It's like cocaine to some poker players.
