Where are the USA residents playing poker these days?

I keep trying the poker rooms from the sportsbooks I'm using and they suck. I cant even get into a tourney because there is no one else playing. I need a site where I can just jump into a tourney at any time of the day like it used to be.

PokerStars usually has lots of players.

Fulltilt also.  Not as many players as pokerstars but the players seem a little better at lower limits.

Did you ever make a withdrawal from there? Did you have to deal with faxing id and the other things they ask for?

Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker are the two major sites now. Ultimate Bet still has alot of players also.

Stars and Full Tilt...I dont like the New Bodog Software because its slower then the past..Absolute is Ok as well but smaller then the Big ones

I just deposited into pokerstars and was already seated at my table within 20 seconds. This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the help guys.

so far so good...I deposited $25 just to test it out and I won my 1st tourney which was a $5 buy in. I took the $20 I won from that tourney and bought into a big tourney. Theres currently 136 players left out of 1602 and I have a healthy stack. Winner takes $6600. I wouldnt mind turning $25 into $6600 in a few hours.

I took 34th place. I was getting blinded out and had to make a move. I went all in with 8's and got called by k's.

I play on Pokerstars as well AJ...but i must say that i never fare too well in those big tourneys...something ridiculous everytime. But i really reccomend 6 handed Sit N Go's...but online poker in general is flatout a joke!!

I recommend Full Tilt..do not use bodog

Pokerstars.  Ultimate Bet has some decent freerolls, but otherwise I think the site sucks.

Bodog and sportsbook.com both let you play poker and bet on games.
