What was the closest you've been to making the money, but got knocked out???

Played a $40 tourney on bodog tonight, 25K guarantee.  495 people, top 45 paid. 3rd in chips after first break. Made it to chip leader not much longer. Nothing going my way, down to 8k..down to 5k with 60 people and doubled up. Got up to 17k. Here is where the drama unfolds...

 

Get AA in middle position. Blinds are 600/1200. Avg stack is about 28k. I have 17.5. Many people are near being knocked out, but everyone is playing tight etc. I raise to 5200. Button reraises to 9k (big stack at table, 60k). He tells me he has AK suited in the room. Either way im pushing, so I do and he calls and shows AKclubs.

 

Im 88% to win this hand...

knocks me out 47th...top 45 paid. $6200 first place. Would have put me at 37k after antes etc...so FUCKING SOUR....makes you shake your head at this game....

the other day im playing in a freeroll.  top 17 get into a money tourney.  i decide that i wanna get in the tourney so im not gonna do anything dumb.  19 ppl left.  i get aces.  i raise folds all around to the big blind he reraises....i reraise.....he goes all in....keep in mind this is for a lot of chips.  time for the showdown and i see he has a fucking 7 9 offsuit!   of course a 7 comes on the flop and the turn and i lose and dont get shit

Finished 11th in one tournery...pot committed and went all in with AA, the guy had 5,5 and called me. Well, he flopped a set, bye bye.

 

It was fun thought.

I got KO'd 5 away from the money in a 600 person tournament.  That's the closest I came without cashing.  I normally play more SNG's on line then MTT's....just because I don't always have the time to invest 2-5 straight hours some MTT's require to play.

 

i have lost with pocket aces going 5 straight times now and this is at bodog. Twice in bodog tourneys.

Lost with A-A to 3-3 to a guy on a shorty this weekend as well.  Only time I had A-A.  I have not kept specific stats (although I am going to from here on out), but I know I've lost the last two hands I've had them to lower pocket pairs.  Pretty much sucks. 

Went all in with KK the other night and a guy calls all his chips with 9 5 and he catches 2 pair.....Really makes me wonder if people are able to cheat with online poker........Funny how the online pros consistently make the money every night in tournies......And it Seems like i get a bad beat everytime i turn around.
