i couldn't sleep last night so was up watching old world series of poker final tables on espnc last night.  They interviewed this one 21 year old kid who lives in a house in vegas with 7 other kids that all pla online poker.  It showed the inside of their house and they had 6 laptops on the table with 6 guys all playing at the same time.   My thought was that they might all have different ip addresses, computer plugged up to cell phone, etc.  that way they could easily cheat in a ring game, small or big tourney.  After seeing this, it is apparent that this happens often.  Finally, all the bad beats that happen in online poker may not be due to the site being rigged, but basically all the people working together against you makes it very hard to win.  I really dont care or want to hear from people who say they win all the time because frankly it doesnt matter, because u may have a scheme just like stated above.  Anyway, just my opinion, but could very well happen and i am sure it does all the time.  In conclusion, i will probably still play online because it is so conveniet, but will proceed with caution because there is no way for the sites to catch all these people.  Just goes to show u how many dishonest people there are in this world, really sad if u think about it.          HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah you are right, 6 people = 12 cards, that is 10 more cards that they would know are "out" of the deck, and their odds are a lot better. If they have 15 outs in the deck, and they are all live, then they have 15/35 % or about 42% of hitting rather than 33% if they didn't know anyof the cards. And of course if 5 or 6 guys are working together they can easily chop a few of the players. I would like to online poker go away for this reason and when everything comes 0out maybe it will.

Collusion can happen anytime. I know the poker sites attempt  to  catch screen names that play on same tables too often. But you could have 5 accts. girlfriend, mom, bro , whatever, all with different IP addresses,  and if you play high enough stakes, I mean like 2000 buy in, not 50000, then you ARE going to play with alot of same people so that is no help to the sites anyway. Of course cheating happens, is it rampant? I have no clue but does it happen? yes yes yes

PS  I do not think sites like pokerstars, partypoker etc etc are involved, just players    But would I be SHOCKED if I was proven wrong?........no

and ex-employees can hack into the system like on Absolute poker. I would not trust any of these companies, they can have bots or house players winning a lot in these games, why? , because they can, greed is a very powerful thing in this business.

my old roommates brother was one of those guys living in that house in Vegas.... This guy plays over 1k tourneys day in and day out, usually 3 to 4 at a time.... it was crazy how much he plays he came over one weekend with his laptop sat down and jumped in 3 tourneys for 1500 each.... he has won 50k in a toruney before and has also droped over 20k in a day playing poker... i asked him about players using diff IP address to fill a table and he said they would never do that.... these tables can track how many players play at a time and how often they are playing with certain SNs.... but i do believe these sites do use "bots" to play games... i have been on a few sites that track your percentages on calls/ raises  on each street... they can track everything and find out your tendencies very easily... i have watched a high limit table for about 30 minutes to see how these guys play and one of the SN was playing like shit. i mean one of the worst players ive seen, but yet he was playing the highest $ table on the site.... and he was calling all ins with 10 J and even 7 10... i couldnt believe it... but he would take the pots down against KK ar A K.... i became very suspious of some of these smaller sites and i feel that they could very easily have someone in there that can see the entire tables whole cards and possibily have a button to control the flop, turn and river... i would not be suprised at the least.. Money is the root of all evil and if you had the chance im sure you would cheat to make some easy money on a daily basis....  also BJ can be rigged... they could easily set up an X amount of hands for when you sign on.... i have played a few times and couldnt believe the pulls the dealer was making to beat my 19s and 20s and even sending out bust hands.... imagine you get delt a 12 or 13 with the dealer showing a 9 or 10..95% of players will hit they send you a 10 and bust easy money for the house.. they can do this a number of times in a row to make you go on tilt and chase to lose your entire account... they could also shoot you a 19 or 20 with the dealer should a 5 or 6... they flop over a 5 then a 10 to clean house... they can control a game very easily with placement of cards....   i have found the best times to play BJ on a sportsbook site is during a very busy time of betting... usually during NFL when they have to worry about lines.... but when you play late at night your never going to win money easy as that, and even when you do its usually starting out small and then once you up your best they take it all back to make you deposit more.. everyone has been there and if you say you havnt you are lying to yourself.... i swear they either set up an X amount of hands for when you sign on, or they have people sitting and choosing what cards to throw out depending on your bet size..... never trust the internet you never know whos on the other side....

blackjack is crooked, I have never played online but I have seen guys lose a ton of money fast on it. Crazy stuff happens that is so improbable, like the dealer continuing nto get 21's busting your splits and double downs. I read where 1 guy lost like 40+ straight hands online, which is mathematically impossible

you guys are right. If YOU cant win online there must be some other reason like collusion or rigging. It doesnt have ANYTHING to do with your play, cuz that is superior

collusion with on line poker is definitely a risk... i manage to make a conservative profit, but i think this happens a lot

MORE IMPORTANTLY, i can ashamedly admit that i once got into an online BJ habit.  I felt like they sucked me right in.  Profited on like 90% of my sessions for about 10 days.  Nothing major, 25-50 bucks at a time and it was adding up nice.

Then i wen thru 2 days where i couldnt win a thing.  Dealer would routinely pull sick sick cards.  If i did get a good hand I would push, very frustrating

no scientific evidence, but for the love of god, stay away from online black jack
