The streak has ended

Played last night. lost 100. had some tough beats, but that's how it goes sometimes.

 

 

Only played 3 times in the last 6wks...going on a 4th winning streak tonight if it holds up. Proceeding with caution here...

good run though

 

glad to see it ended with only a -100 and not a complete ass raping.

 

maybe this is the sign for me to go and end my run?

 

 

my run ended too bro, i dropped a k last week

dropped 400 last friday. Most went when I called a raise from the big blind with 45 off. Flop came J45 and I check called a pot size bet. Turn was an ace and I knew this card hit him. I check and he bet about half the pot and I check raised him huge pot comitting him. He called and the fucking river was of course a King. I knew he had AK and I checked and he stuck his last 40 in and I was forced to call.

 

Last hand I had QQ in BB with 120 left, the button raised to 14 and I reraised to 40. He thought about it and called. Flop came junk with a king. I kinda thought he had AK, but I did not feel like playing the hand like a box so I jammed my last 80 in and was called. Sure shit he had AK.

 

I did not play very well failing to realize a tight player and called him down with pocket 44 when he had pocket KK. Also over played top pair against a set.

going to New Orleans tonight and staying there till wednesday morning.  Hope there is plenty of action during Mardi Gras.

i went to the Sante Fe tuesday for some 4-8 tuesday.... folded almost all day long (3 hours), hands i got i won with and i left up $127
