No word yet on Poker After Dark.  I haven't heard one way or the other, but they are still running their shows this week.

I didn't even know how to play poker as late as 2007. I guess I was a little late to the party, but I've made some good money the last 2.5 years.

What the DOJ did hasn't even affected me....yet.  I play at Carbon, and if anything, the games have become much more populated since Black Friday.  I just hate the thought of them eventually going away completely.

 

Thats true. Its probably still in better shape than it was in 2002 lol

 

Hopefully this paves the way for legality but I dont know, som eof the plans I hear for legal online poker are brutal, like each state has its own site, so people in calif can only play people in calif and so on for each state, not just a big player pool of evryone around the world

I havent moved to Carbon yet, I may just use a VPN and stay on tilt but a good friend of mine moved earlier this week and hes complaining about the heads-up games just being a reg-fest.

 

Problem is most/all of the good players will move to a different site and keep playing but most of the fish will just give up due to the hassle and blow their cash elsewhere

 

The next few months is gonna be very interesting, the golden days are surely behind us

I can't imagine a VPN actually working. I would love one if it meant getting back on Pinnacle or Matchbook, but it just doesn't seem very likely.

I don't play much heads-up, so I can't really help you there.  The place is certainly full of regs, but according to a few sites the amount of players has gone way up. You can also get 35% rakeback, along with a bunch of other monthly free stuff that always helps the bankroll.
