Stars cashout checks and Wells Fargo?

Fellas-  I've been threatening to start playing online for a couple of years now, and I think I'm about ready to make a deposit with Poker Stars.

I bank with Wells Fargo.  When I cash out and request a check from Stars will I have a problem depositing it into my account? 

I think I read somewhere that the cashout checks from these big sites (Stars, FT, etc) are from US banks.  Is this true?

You will not have a problem  I bank at Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) as well, and I've deposited checks AND used direct transfers.  Both fast and convenient.

NP.  I always took wire transfers from Stars, but I was curious so I requested a check, and I got it in less than seven days.

 

Do you have an account on any site yet?  If you're signing up a new account on FT, you can get rakeback, which they deposit directly into your account every week.  Stars doesn't offer rakeback at all.  I was already a FT player, so I had to send a bunch of emails and be a pain in the ass, but I eventually got it hooked up.  They use RakeBackPros.

A WHILE AGO  THEY PASSED THE LAW MAKING IT ILLEGAL FOR U.S. BANKS TO ACCEPT PAYMENTS FROM GAMBLING SITES, MEANING IF YOU HAVE A CHECK THEY WONT DEPOSIT IT FOR YOU. THE PPA GOT IT DELAYED FOR 6 MONTHS BUT THE 6 MONTH ENDS EITHER THIS MONTH OR NEXT. IM WAITING TILL I HEAR WHATS UP WITH THAT BEFORE I DEPOSIT MONEY WITH THEM., I DONT WANT TO GET FUCKED WHERE I WOULD HAVE NO WAY TO COLLECT IF I WERE TO WIN.

I just got a wire transfer last Friday.  I used the money to buy a keyboard that has lower-case letters.
