Question for you guys

What do you guys who play more often than not do when your card dead?

 

For you guys play through it and tighten up, or do you just take a short break from cards in general?

 

Ive been a winning player for awhile now.  Only been playing live since I turned 21 a couple months back.  Over the last week or so though I just have not been getting dealt playable hands to save my life.  I find myself just wishing for connected cards anymore and its starting to scare me.  The few times I do wake up with a hand I seem to be dominated from the get go as well.  A few bluffs here and there have saved me from losing my ass a couple nights lately.

 

 

I'm assuming NL hold-em

 

In tournament you obviously have to bluff and try to outplay somebody.

 

Online there is no such thing as card dead.

 

In a live cash game you need to apply the patience of jobe.  I used to take a break and completely get away from poker now I just go sit in a PLO game.  Impossible to be card dead in Omaha too.
