From time to time I get bored and like to fuck around with holdem tournaments - anyone know the current low stakes (like 500 bucks) deposit methods?

    wwwcard still work?

    I thought you hated poker?

    It is a boredom thing.

There are days that I think I will like it, and then when I actually play, I hate it.

The day of this post I thought I would like it, I put in money, I played yesterday, and I once again will think its horrible.

    Repeat in 6 months.

(A civil response, I'm impressed .  No regrets, thank you )

I used to think it was boring to until:

    A) I started playing live

    B) I started playing with more money

    C) I realized it can be very profitable.

Live poker is actually quite exciting when you're in a big pot with a lot of money at stake.  You see people's hands literally shaking at the table.  No joke, I see this all the time actually.

My name at PS is - wait for it.......  VANZACK.

I have never played live poker.  Not even once.  Was an inch away from going to the WSOP last year, but the logistics are ridiculous.  I would go play but you have to book flights and hotels, and you could be out in 5 minutes or in 2 weeks.  Too much for a donkey like me.

I have no patience.  I think I do, and can have patience for an hour, but then Im playing in the sunday big tournament at PS, and I have a bet on the chargers, and they are losing 6-0, and Im pissed, and I have 20K on the chargers and 200 on this stupid poker tourney, so I dump.

If poker was my only option I would learn it, study it, and try to master it.  But Im just not quite motivated yet so I donate twice a year.

While we are on the subject....

Does anyone know how, or can someone look me up in one of those poker database things?

Im not sure how much info you need, but I would like to see how badly I rate.  Im sure when I sign up for a table people are fighting to sit down with me.

Just post the results in this thread - I have no shame.

Wow high stakes sit n go's are killers, thats a crazy avg stake.

Vazack try playing the smaller buy-ins against the donkeys.  Playing in the higher stakes stg's you have to play extremely tight as you're up against some real tough competition.

Go down to the $50 18 man or 9 man.

The high stakes goes right along with the zero patience motiff.

I think that must just be sit n go's because I have actually won a few 10K tourneys a couple of years ago - and came close to the sunday tourney once - I think that paid over 10k.  Not sure.

Im in a tourney now.  100 entry.  Started at 1pm, I have 10k in chips, am in about 20th, and I guarantee I will get bored and dump.  Im trying my hardest, but soccer starting in 15 mins.

And I get knocked out on a perfect example of why I hate poker so much.

Guy gets a lucky flush after I totally trapped him bluffing with a 10 - 4.

So there you have it.  I hate poker.
