Not buying it. He's gotten his share of luck (I know they all have to a certain extent) and can be prone to getting a little loosey goosey. That said, I don't have a strong lean for myself. I just think Chino is the popular pick 1. because he's got some style, and 2. because he's made some nice plays on TV lately. Just my $.02. Good luck on your bet. I wouldn't be disappointed if he won....he definitely does have some style.

I wouldn't say solid. I remember one had where he flop middle pair(holding J 10) and got check raised by Tiffany Michelle(holding AJ). The player last to act flopped a set of Aces. He was "thinking" about calling but said that he was afraid of the last guy. He couldn't even beat the Ace.

Yeah but you also have to take into account the read he had on the person. They play so many damn hands that it is to hard to really judge how good they are playing. However, from most of that hands that I saw him play.....he was very strong

i like montgomery. he got a 5th place finish at the LA poker classic and a 4th at the bellagio cup this year. once the blinds are high enough its just coin flips though.
WOW!!! If this peachy fellow wins I will never play poker again. He loves the queens if u know what i mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think blinds are going to be as important an issue as people think.
The starting stack this year was 20k for the first time, not 10k so stacks are huge.
Blinds are currently 120-240k but 8 of the 9 players have over 10 million chips. That is over FORTY big blinds. So even with antes, PLENTY time to wait at this point.
I still say the russian wins.
