I play at Full Tilt all the time and is where I started playing. You must learn the game and learn a style that suits you. Are you a cash game player or a tourney player? I have tried to play the cash games and it just doesn't suit me. I play in the sit & go's and the tourneys and find myself doing much better. What is your style? Are you over agressive or a conservative patient player? I have found that the bad beats come more often in the lower stake games because more players are willing to take the risk because they put such a small amount. I find much more consitent play in the higher stake games.
Bad beats is poker. That is part of the game. You have to shrug it off and move on. The bad beat you took, was it really a bad beat or did you make a bad play? Those poket kings don't look as strong once an ace hits on the flop do they? I can't recall any bad beats that have got me to the point of quiting but I remember a few. No big deal, that's poker.
I will share my favorite Full Tilt momment and only because I was on the winning side. I had QQ and went all in, another guy had KK and went all in, and another guy had AA and went all in. Flop came with two Q's and I won the had. I do not remember if I won that sit & go but I will never forget that hand.

I agree with the others that say due to the volume of hands that you see online you are gonna see some wierd stuff, but that is the statitisics of the game. I have had my pokect A's cracked plenty of times.

I hear ya..... just dicking around w/ the dollar NL tables I've seen plenty of crazy shit that shouldn't happen ... but of course does when players call 6xBB preflop raises w/ K8off early. i just stick to the 5/10 SNG and a MTT if i got the time to get my kicks. crazy shit there too but it usually calms down after 3-4 levels. the recent AP scandal stuff doesn't help the cause or ease anybody's worries though. and yeah AP ONLY acknowledged it when the 2nd place "winner" started jumping on the soapbox. what incentive do they have to police something like that if 'nobody' is aware of it. it first acknowledges that ANY site is vulnerable to computer/ software attacks... hell i'm sure there's a genius 15 year kid w/ a face full of acne trying to figure out a way to exploit a site right now as we speak. there's just WAY too much money not too for these brilliant computer types.. < hell if you were a techno wiz wouldn't you be tempted to do the same? > and one more thing..... anybody in the tech field will tell you over and over again.. ANY computer is at risk for being exploited. There is not now and never will be a foolproof 100% hackproof/safe system. that's just the way it is. it doesn't help either that a lot of these sites are offshore w/ absolutely no monitoring. like someone else pointed out.. Greed is everywhere regardless of how much $$$$ is coming in and it makes it a WHOLE lot easier to operate in the shade if there's not a huge pesky federal government making at least an attempt to make sure your on the up and up.
