I've bitched about this before, I just say this and let it go.

 

This is probably a no brainer, but these online free poker sites are a complete WASTE of time.

 

I live in Las Vegas, so I'm not about to open a money account anytime soon.  So, when I'm not playing live, I've been "playing" at Pokerstars.net (their money site is Pokerstars.com).

 

I've been reading and playing and getting much better.  Sometimes (like this morning) I get bored and play at the .net site.  Thinking that maybe it could be some good practice.  WRONG.  It's unfucking real.  It's just stupid.  You're playing against 12 yr olds that go all in with anything. 

 

I've come to one very clear conclusion: Playing at these sites are actually counterintuitive to improving your game.

 

And, Pokerstars just piss me off in general.  First, you see their ads all over the tv, internet and magazines, enticing you to join their free site to improve you're game - obviously this is not true....it's all about their pay site, which is cool with me, I'm a born again capitalist, so I can see their marketing ploy.  But, the sad part of it is, what they've created is complete crap because of all of it.

what do u expect ? hell even in the low limit games online or live you have people that are just calling stations regardless , i know in the perfect poker world you would hope that people would play poker like it is supposed to be played but people play like fools because most people think ah well its only free chips or its only a buck or 2 to call , thats why you have to pick and choose where u play and what limits you play . hey u prolly know this but even at some of the higher limits you have people calling with some crazy shit
