Long time tournament superstar/ degenerate gambler chino rheem has allegedly stolen and blown the 111k he was given to enter the one drop poker tournament at WSOP las vegas in the casino at Aria. He has a long well known history of tourney success. He has FOUR million dollar or more scores in his brief career.

1.77 million nov 2008

1.53 million dec 2008

1.00 million aug 2011

1.15 million may 2013

Despite this he is always in debt. He has been off the grid the last few days and it has been confirmed by VERY reliable sources he robbed his backers and blew the 111k. They could arrest him if they choose to and only time will tell how this will play out

Big,He has been backed by some real heavyweights in the business world that also happen to enjoy poker. For instance, guy laliberte who is rumored to be the backer in this instance is worth about 2 billion dollars.  He is the sponsor of this particular tournament, and the proceeds go to his charity. Last year the buy in was 1 million dollars. Men like laliberte treat 100k the way you and I treat 10 dollars, which is probably why chino is not locked up now. Chino even played a 1500 event yesterday. Laliberte lost a ton of money to Tom dwan  online and only stopped playing regularly online because of the publicity behind it and the mocking he took from poker groupies online. The money had no effect on him at all. When this backing story gets more publicly discussed and all the facts come out I will post a link here. I am sure the chino damage control can not keep this from all getting out for more then a week or two.

I used to feel the same way bling. The crazy thing is he actually pays people back some money when he makes a score, substantial money . Where guys like Eric lindgren only pay people back that benefits him in the future. Eric even told a well known guy that the debts he owed him were " imaginary" because they were from golf and many years had passed since the bet took place! Chino on the other hand owed the same guy money, and when the guy approached chino at the rio chino did claimed he did not even remember the debt but still pulled the money out of his pocket and paid him in full on the spot.Later in the poker world chinos stock was rising ( albeit slowly) and edog was still at the bottom of the scum pile. Ive had similar things happen to me as a backer..... Had a horse of mine take 5 grand intended for a tournament and blow it that same night both literally ( cocaine ) and on the casino floor... The poker staking world is full of storys like this as I have personal friends with even worse storys.... Chino just another great poker player with serious degenerate issues
