Yesterday was the Poker Million 2007, and somewhere in the progress of the final table came the posted odds at my book. There were five players left, two I had heard of (Howard Leaderer, Julian Gardner) and three I had not (Liam Flood, Joe Beevers, Martyn Smyth). The three no names where going off at +450, +500, +550. So I figure one of these no names would win, considering Leaderer is always a good play to fade at final tables, and fading Gardner seemed like a risky play at first but seemed to pay off.
I layed a dime on each of the three, and it payed.
So the point is bet the bottom three of a final table (when it gets to 5 or 6) and it should play a decent percentage (no evidence).
