cursing at the cocktail people.. just making an ass of himself..and ESPN showed it. it was cringe inducing to watch

I was there that night....watched it until around 3am when i jumped into a PLO cash game

Yes the kid was wrong......but after that Scotty was way off his rocker.....just a bad drunk I guess.....

I wondered if there was more to it than they showed on TV 'cause Scotty was steaming. I'll give Scotty the benefit of the doubt though. If the guy was acting like a punk then he should expect more than he deserves. Maybe Scotty wanted to make up for what Greenstein and Seed couldn't do  Anyways I found it amusing. I kind of suspect the kid knew what he was doing and being annoying on purpose and pretending that he didn't mean any harm.

o well we all been there and done that. I refuse to let 1 drunk anything make me rate sum 1 overall. Scotty is the sh1t and has years of nobleness behind him .

ZiggyDawg there really was not more to it then ESPN showed....it pretty much went down as they showed it on TV

 

clowninmyside nobody said a word to Scotty from ESPN....the floor person talked to him a a couple of times during breaks but other than that nobody talked to him....

he was basically drunk off his ass and acted like a fool....plain and simple....

 

but it's amazing how well he plays when he is drunk...

that kid was a dick. i couldnt stand him. i thought the berating the cocktail people and the staff was wrong. i could give a crap what he said to that douche he was playing against

haha Scotty obviously had 1 beers too many. Chip Reese would have turned over in his grave. Scotty's the man but he whent waaay over the line in waaay too many occasions. Fair enough if he wasn't overly intoxicated and was just being agressive for tactic and i love to drink while i play cards but he was being a complete jerk off . Boo to Scotty this time round other wise i do give him my usual respects for his game but there was no excuse for his conduct.

i didnt see the beginning of the episode, so I didnt see DiMichele bother him, but when you piss Lindgren off, you gotta figure you cross the line. Lindgren is nearly as calm as they come.
 
Scotty was definitely off his rocker. IM glad he put the kid in his place, but wow did he push Erik's buttons, which I wasnt happy about. I mean what did EL do? Wish he would have taken him

I rather see trash talking than "good sportsmanship" poker.
 
Many times you see all the money goes in pre-flop and the players will tell each other "good luck".  WTF
 
or a playing saying "sorry" after a suck out.

I was in Vegas at the time of this tournament and I remember watching them play for maybe 10 minutes. At the time I think there were 4 left, not sure who the 4th was. Didnt notice any problems going on...kinda wish i had seen it!

this is a good point lindgren was obvoiusly annoyed by this dimicheles bowing and clapping like he never won a hand before.  dimichele crossed the line a little i think, but scotty was way over it.

i take my last post back. norm chad and espn's editing crew made scotty look bad in the wsop main event 1st day. they spliced footage to make it look like he didnt apologize for his behaviour when in fact he did. real classless job by ESPN and NORM
