Anybody play or playing in any WSOP events?

I have played a bunch.

Mostly mixed games and alot of Pot Limit Omaha, 7 Card Stud Hi/Low-8 and Omaha/8

I tend to stay away from the noon NLHE donkfests and focus my time on real games.

And to clarify i meant to say i have played a bunch in the past.

I'm actually not going out this year.

everything from out on the 4th hand (long story lol) to a top 20 finish

i have never reached a final table unfortunately

you got me interested and i looked back at my records i have played in 17 events since 1998

1 in 1998

1 in 1999

2 in 2000

3 in 2001

3 in 2002

None in 2003

1 in 2004 (first main event)

None in 2005 or 2006

1 in 2007 (second main event)

5 in 2008 (stayed the entire WSOP, played in my 3rd Main Event)

And then none last year and none this year.

I'm mainly a cash game player...I spend about 80% of my Poker time playing cash. So thats why even when i was out in Vegas for 2 months in 2008 i only played in 8 tournaments that whole trip. I played a few of the deep stack events at the V as well.

In 2004 and 2007 I won my main event seats online. In 2008 I won my main event seat in a 1k single table on the second try.

So i have played in 3 main events with an investment of less than $2,500 for all 3. Of course I won jack shit in all the tournaments so thats nothing to really brag about lol

I miss Benny's Bullpen. The WSOP used to be so different from what it is today.
