are begging for pardons

The President has told advisers he thinks that he and his family have been unfairly
targeted and that he's concerned the legal pursuits could continue under the Biden
Justice Department.
Trump's lawyers and allies have been lobbying him for pardons.
He is considering preemptive pardons for his entire family and himself.

Can Trump pardon himself?

Justice Department policy says Trump cannot pardon himself because no one
can be a judge whose official actions would directly affect himself or herself.

"Under the fundamental rule that no one may be a judge in his own case,
the President cannot pardon himself,"
stated an Office of Legal Counsel opinion dated Aug. 5, 1974

He can but he have to resign and have pence sworn in and then President Pence can pardon him for federal crimes.

he cant   but if he resigns and has pence do the dishonor of pardoning a guilty man who claims hes done nothing wrong  rump would still be vulnerable to any civil cases fedeerally as well as any civil or criminal cases at the state level which cant be bailed out by scotus

Since adolf trump has proven he doesn't give a damn about law & order (unless it serves his own personal interests) then it is likely Kushner's criminal father will be set free, along with pre-emptive pardons for other members of the trump crime family.

I am not sure how this prepardon could be argued in supreme court.  A president can make his family immune from all federal crimes preemptively????.

Well Trump has one more chance to be the good batch McConnell needs to keep his gavel.  If Trump fnk him in Georgia today Trump is going to be on huge receiving end of blunt justice

Pretty much the only the reason he is trying to bully his way into remaining in the white house. The only way he can avoid charges and prison time. Fortunately, for America his tactics will not work. He has never been interested in leading the country as President, and still isn't. 

While I am hopeful that any and EVERY criminal gets exactly what he deserves

somehow I get this nagging feeling that adolf trump will escape justice.

Fubs. I agree with you completely. I have a feeling he flees the country before charges or trial comes along. He has been looking at properties in Russia for quite a few years now. 

The charges are coming though, that is for sure. Whether justice is served is a different issue.
