I think the Occupy! ©™ movement is beginning to take its toll on my handicapping (two clunkers in a row although, in fairness, I did look pretty smart after the first inning of each game - afterwards, not so much). Let's go for the "kill shot"...

*I'm not going to write this one up, just because... I don't want to be the reason someone tags along and ends up losing (I get the unfortunate feeling that happens a lot around here). It's just something I like more than most, so let's leave it at that and hope for the best...

It's time to take R.A. Dickey seriously. His knuckleball even inside the Trop tonite is spellbinding.

You know you're going bad when... RA Dickey with his lifetime 5.29 ERA and 1.57 WHIP indoors over the course of 63 IP is holding the Rays to 1 hit. And, yeah, I know, he's having a good season, but still... Numbers like that don't just happen, especially when you take into consideration these unique variables. Oh well...

Anyways, this is a clear sign for me to take a break (as if the Spurs collapse last week wasn't enough of a sign) before I start pissing away my good start to the season (if I haven't already). I guess a "June Swoon" was inevitable after five relatively profitable months to start the calendar year.

I'll be concentrating on the Occupy! ©™ movement for the next little while (oh, it's going to happen).

hugh, what is with these montreal student protests you speak of?

are those confused little leftists shutting down the streets or something?  should i bring them some SINGLE TAX paraphernalia? I have some t-shirts and other swag, maybe i can teach those knuckleheads something and then they'd know what to protest,,,,in exchange for hand jobs of course

It's with regards to proposed tuition hikes by the government (which is ironic considering tuition rates in Quebec are the lowest in North America).

Think G-12 riots and that's Montreal on a nightly basis the last 3 months. Even the strip clubs are being affected because tourists are afraid to go downtown at night.
