Noticed in other threads that all the playoff zealots are out in force today.  If we had a four team playoff this year........using Boom's poll to determine the contestants (and, his poll looks to be as valid as any others out there).....one loss Alabama, Oregon and Kansas State get in while one loss Clemson, Florida State (and Georgia) are out.  Fair??.........maybe, maybe not............objective.....not at all. Somebody is still saying that getting blown out on the road by Baylor or getting dominated at home by A&M qualifies you more than losing a road game at Florida State or a one point loss at NC State.  Like 8 teams?  Tell Florida that two teams that they beat (A&M and LSU) are in and that they, the Gators, are out.  At least college football still has the best regular season out there.........but, IMO, most of the playoff proposals are crap.  Thoughts?

Boom,  Agree that all is not over yet. Just a week ago everyone thought Ala. was dead and look now.  Everyone seems on the bandwagon again.
1.Do you think Oregon St. has a shot?
2.If Tx. AM can take down the mighty Tide then Georgia can give then a game.
    3. Kansas St. might be out but not if certain things happen then they jump in like Ala. did this week.

The fat lady may not have sung her last song yet!

You know as well as I do Boom that ND is gonna win the game vs USC. I bet Barkley doesnt play that way Lame Kiffin will have a built in excuse.....

Bama is gonna work over UGA. Saban will have that d fired up and Murray cant run like Manziel.....

ND vs Bama NC game..... Go ahead and bet on that matchup if your book offers it. Line opens at Bama -10

I dont think K St deserves to be in the top 5 anymore. Only thing keeping them there was having no losses. I would take FSU and Clemson on a neutral field all day.....

I'm gonna have a hard time not parlaying the FSU and Clemson MLs this weekend.....Meaning I will be parlaying them

    Nice week brother

The fact that you left Georgia out of you top 10 destroys any of your credibility when it comes to college football.  The ap poll and the coaches poll(all of the college coaches in America, by the way) have Georgia at #3, and I think most of those people know what they are talking about.  I wonder if you will have Georgia in your top 10 when they beat Alabama and are playing for the national championship, or will you have Clemson and FSU ahead of them too.  The ACC = The Almost Competitive Conference.

seriously boom....on what basis do you have georgia out of top 10?

i'm pretty sure whatever answer you give would apply to several of the teams you DO have in your top 10...so i would expect to hear something that is unique to Georgia that keeps them out.

seriously boom....on what basis do you have georgia out of top 10?

i'm pretty sure whatever answer you give would apply to several of the teams you DO have in your top 10...so i would expect to hear something that is unique to Georgia that keeps them out.

Bipolar - Yeah N.D deserves to be there if they win... will they win it all? No.

Dled -  I think Clemson is harder to handle at this point. Why? There so dynamic of both passing and running. Whereas Oregon is really struggling to pass the ball. If they could have threatened Stanford with the passing game I think they would have won the game.

Dominc -  I think Kansas st is better.. Not to be so short about it, but I just think this Kansas st team is better

Gwjtf - You called it.. great work man You think UCLA can beat Stanford? If so, Oregon might sneak back in the NC picture

Laythehammer - How do I not have Class or humility? Did I say something about your team that you didnt like? You dont know me personally.... Im probably one of the most Classiest people you will ever meet.

Ashland - You are right... the kid is amazing. I think he has been forgotten only because his team is 5-5

Cover - as always good to see you bro

wheels - You have to be the biggest blind homer this website has ever seen.... Look, me and you get along fine.. but this total disbelief of reality you have is mind boggling. Are you gonna go into hiding after FSU beats Florida down? yeah.... I think so

Thekidisgood - We will just have to agree to disagree.... Georgia is shit and you are about to find out

What have they done Sims? This is a bad football team. How do i know? I watch the games.....thats how

The only team Georgia has beat was Florida..........and Florida might be the most overrated team in the history of the game.

    Facts

They struggle with teams like Kentucky, it's just who they are. Aaron Murray folds under pressure... The fact they just didnt lose to S.C...they got humiliated.

Im telling you guys DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF GT beats these guys

If you are going to spend so much time bashing other teams, you should probably own up to Clemson having a pathetic defense. You just continually bash SEC teams when the teams you prop up give up more points in one half than the teams you bash do in 3 games combined. Clemson will not beat SC if they play like that defensively, it's a personnel problem that will be there against any team they face. Clemson will not score like that against SC's front seven.

Clemson defense has been horrid. Nobody isnt saying its not. But you wont acknowledge how dynamic that offense is... and yes, they will score 40 or more on the cocks... The problem you have wheels is you cant see out the box. Open up your eyes man. Nobody in that league plays offense except texas am. Like I said last week, A&M looked great " defensively " against other sec teams.... but they give up 57 to La tech Open your eyes man.... Clemson will score on anyone. DO NOT mistake the idea that they cant... and yes, they would score all over Florida. Would they give up points? To anyone else, I would say absolutely, but that offense you guys have is the worst offense I have ever seen.... FSU is gonna beat you down so bad that they will be calling for Musheads job.

If no one in the conference plays offense in the SEC, then why do they keep winning it all? Im the one not opening my eyes, that's funny. You really let your blind hate get in the way of studying the sport.

Why? Because of shit like this past week. Alabama loses at home as a 14 point fav and drops 2 spots. Kansas st loses on the road and drops 7 spots.... Now understand that im not saying Kansas st should be considered in the NC game...im just simply saying that the system in place favors certain schools... if you dont understand that then you are BLIND.

TV ratings would be the worst ever.  Most would rather watch Heidi.

they haven't done much...but my point is that georgia's resume is still better than clemson's or fsu's.

so you are basing it on the eye test.....why then is notre dame #1?

Boom,  Okay,  but I believe you were strong on Ala.being  totally out last week.  What say you now? Things will happen.  I think the word is choke and the 19 yr. olds are susceptible to the dog collar. That goes for coaches, too.  Last week every one was betting it would be K. St. vs. Geo.  What are we gonna say next week?

I think Train is right with a Clemson, FSU parlay.  Waiting on the pts.
Sounds like your on a roll and that is when to play strong. Confidence makes for good picks.      GL,   Doc
