I agree the odds individually are a better deal (and almost always are).

But I bet the series for two reasons:

    1) Right now I just don’t have the time to shop individual lines and I’m not thrilled about going against Degrom who has an ERA of Dwight Gooden at the moment.

    2) I've been having a lot of success with series/ season long bets and I want to ride that trend.

It’s not the greatest deal but I’m paying the extra juice as a matter of convenience and personal preference.

BWS, understood. I’m still searching for justification for Punk. I do not have it yet.

Unimpressed by Punk’s physique at weigh in (looks less muscular than when he was wrestling although admittedly I’m not sure how to judge a 169 pound man.)

I'd like to thank the Peoples Champ and all who have been involved in this outstanding thread. I have no interest in betting NBA reg. season but have always enjoyed the playoffs but even that had been waning in recent years. Now tonight i believe the Warriors would love to completely atone for the 3 - 1 meltdown, and while the Cavs are not thrilled having to go back west for a beatdown i'm guessing the would rather that than to be one of the few teams to be beaten 4 - 0 for the championship.I'm having trouble getting a feel for the total.

I generally hate basketball, but Packer and BigD did a nice job. peace_5

But i just cant get away from the feeling that the Cavs mindset my not be in sync for this game. Defense takes work & heart and i question just how much the Cavs (- James) are willing to put in tonight.

tough game to cap IMO......my gut says the Cavs remember being down 3-1 and winning so their mindset will be to get this one and see what happens.  I know Lebron isn't ready to field "where are you going next" questions just yet.  Also, they really could have had 2 wins already in this series and they know it.  That said, I am really leaning on Cavs ML +160 but for some reason ( the best team in the world) I can't click the damn button.

Of course the Warriors remember being up 3-1 and losing, so they have that angle to just finish it tonite and go home to a big party. I'm glad you're on the fence because so am I. Anyway you look at it, it's a 4 on 2 game with the Warriors holding the best hand. They'll have to fold it to lose. And they could.

But I can tell you this: the Mets are absolutely dreadful at the plate right now. They cannot hit. They rarely make contact and when they do it’s a double play ball.

    It is literally unwatchable.

Despite Degrom being 4-0 with a 1.43 ERA, they’ve lost 5 of the last 6 with him on the mound. That’s very hard to do...

They just managed to score 1 run in two games against what is the worst Oriole team since Mickey Tettleton and the 0-21 Baltimore team in 1988.

Yanks -165 to win the series (because the Mets can’t put the bat on the ball, so forget the aces on the mound. Can’t score can’t win. Yes it’s that simple.)

I'm just about ready to hit - 4 with 5D and it goes 4'.
I'm with Getty, if you look at it Warriors team wise with the exception of Durrant did not play all that well and still won and covered. - 4' x 2 for me. BOL to all.

Whats the best way to heal and get payback after losing a championship when leading 3 - 1 ? Come back and sweep.

As much as I want to hit the Cavs ML with Foster reffing I need to see Cleveland’s desire first.  I will definitely be playing something in-game

BOL gents.   Still mulling over Cavs 1st to 10 and 20 as well. Looks like +100 on both

Fellas...i really think their 3-1 collapse is truly in the past and water under the bridge...everyone can look back and say that was on Draymon and his wreckless act resulting in his suspension...however that still doesnt excuse their inability to win games 6 or 7 that year...Kyrie was the xfactor for sure...this game tonight is all that matters right now...line is a point less than game 3, doesnt that seem puzzling? Would the line here be closer to 6 than 4 given how this series has played out? If we inspect further, wouldnt the general public look at this line and autobet Warriors based solely on the eye test? I see THE CAVES ML tonight being the bold choice, however ats is the safer option at +4.5....you guys all know i like to rib the scripters out there in the mains, but this game smells like a general sheep bloodbath for anyone expecting the sweep with ease...i just dont see Lebrons teammates rolling over tonight and letting him down...Warriors by 15+ in game 5 is likely, or maybe not, who really knows what James is truly capable in a spot like this...however i do expect Lebron to get to the FT line early and often this first half, unlike in game 3...im already locked in a long time ago on THE CAVES here when the line came out, and i would still back them now if i wanted a little action in the game.

Biscuit and Getty i truly appreciate the kind words...this thread has been a daily pleasure since day one, and when BigD and i came up with the idea to start it, neither one of us could have predicted it going this well...being your host has been a ton of fun, BigD has cemented himself as a hoops guru which i knew he was before this all started, and i did what i could to contribute as much as i could along the way with my crazy made up international teams and leagues and ingame +EV wagers with my running mate Dru...it was a great honor having an amazing group of gents to discuss hoops and other sports when they came up in the natural flow of the conversation.

I sincerely thank everyone for participating and making us all better cappers all around..despite not maintaining any records here, i can honorably say this thread never had a single losing month overall based on every single locked in wager from all of us...and for that fact alone, i am very proud to have been a part of this thread.

Pack, i have to differ when it comes to water under the bridge, while they may not close it out tonight most of these guys are aware of their place in nba history sans JR. I'd be willing to bet that if asked their true feelings that the Warriors to a man would like to wrap it up tonight and if possible in convincing fashion. GLUCK buddy.

For everything that Lebron is, I mean, he is really getting bashed here.

Don't give me that bullshi* of 'he has no one around him'. You can win ONE finals game off the worst GS team of the 4 in the last 4.

A sweep is a comin' and his exit from Cleveland is 100% confirmed.

    A fitting ending.

Seriously...   how does the first possession of the half result in JR Smith dribbling the ball into the lane?
