My fellow covers basketball cappers,The People&#x27;s Champ is proud to announce this thread is now open for business. For anyone who knows BigD, he is as sharp of a hoops capper this site has ever seen. Both him and I will be here within this thread to talk hoops, both college and pros...no egos, no record keeping, no negativity, no cap off contests to the death, none of that nonsense...we come to you all with the best intentions possible to beat our collective books at a game where we traditionally excel at. Over the past while, both him and I have been beating our books within multiple sports, by chatting between ourselves daily. We both think it will come to benefit us even more to open up the discussion to more intelligent hoops cappers, and thus have a broader spectrum of thoughts and angles.We both look forward to great hoops chat with other seasoned vets, and whomever else wishes to discuss basketball.

what better way to start this journey than with some controversy. Now that the 3 players are suspended indefinitely and with some obvious travel for Alfords team, guess what, the Bruins have a game tonight where they have to cover 28 points. ( 27 now at my book )

Do they rally around the guys they have playing or does Central Arkansas now think they have a shot to win this let alone cover the 27?

I think I will take my chances UCLA wins this game but not in blowout fashion. Maybe a solid 15-20 point win tonight but 27??? I will take those odds. ( btw, I locked in at 27.5 earlier )

Similar thoughts applied to last night Standford losing at home as a 16.5 fav to E.Washington...these early season heavy home fav lines are insane...its either dog ATS or pass until December for me

Anyone know why Arizona State was only a 1.5 fav yesterday?They blew out SDSU. I thought it was a gift. Am I wrong????

Ibcake...1st half score had SDSU up 6...i think that 2nd half most likely snowballed into a home team avalanche...crazy runs happen...so many games this time of year there will be alot of soft lines that we will miss out on...nice to see ASU offensively clicking...mental note they will be hard to put away early if they are capable of scoring like this.

Scooby, yes indeed...some people will say totals in the NBA are truly the only way to go...especially now with ingame wagering and buy outs live...you can tell many times how a game will play out pacewise by the 6min mark in the 1st Q (i would only recommend totals in NBA....college totals are far too unpredictable).

Ive hit several totals so far this year...overs are hitting nicely right now....books havent adjusted completely yet.

I play a lot of totals Scrappy. I have a feeling this thread will morph into any play we feel is warranted.

with that said, I am thinking of a big play Saturday on Mizzou at -8.5. Played them last week against Tenn and was a stress free win. Hoping for more of the same this weekend.

in college I find the more obscure conferences totals hit more.... especially during conference play and tournaments... also I noticed if first half is off pace the second tends to be over... get it before the books add the half... colleges seem to play more harder and like to prolong games with the fouling... will find a few I like for the good people here and if people like dislike all good.... just trying to help...

Kamba, Howard, and Lee are all Seniors. All contributing meaningful minutes with Howard leading the way as their best player. Veteran team for sure.

Look, he will get his numbers. 28 points, 8 boards and 5 assists. Which is a great game but with Drummond down low and Giannis isn't the best jump shooter I can see a relatively stress free win here on this prop.

Just my 2 cents , with a line still as high as 26.5 wth 3 players suspended and all over the news for the public to see ... Vegas is baiting ppl to bet against UCLA . They are UCLA for a reason . Their second team are all high school standouts and central Arkansas is well central Arkansas ...

Take it for what its worth, i will do my best to relay their picks...and track them to see if they are worth considering (the guys tend to be uber conservative professional cappers, and tend to prefer backing dogs on perceived inflated lines).
