Do you guys notice the NBA 1st half line vs the game has such a discrepancy? Even 1st Q?

Talk about a mind fuk...i know all about this home team down 0-2 trend ats...but they usually fail to say that the Warriors as the road team is the only exception to that trend in game 3...i am strongly leaning to wheel the Dubs every which way here 1q 1h and fg...still mulling it over...plus i like the under for some reason...Warriors on the road typically win with intense defensive effort and energy early on....i just dont believe guys like Korver Green Smith Love etc can be counted on anymore to help score....i could be wrong...maybe the total is a dangerous option...could be better left for ingame if the line jumps 5quick pts early from a few made 3s....regardless, hope people took Curry for MVP at +150 earlier on when we were discussing it...looks very solid now....what a game 2 show he put on...just makes watching the game fun again when he plays like that.

    Locked in:

    Cavs +5.5....3 units

    Cavs ML +185

Does this make the peoples champ winofficially a sharp? Putting my money where my mouth is...ive been calling for the gentlemans sweep with GS winning in 5...its hard to go against the greatest team in this era, but really too much pride from Lebron to allow his team to get swept and lose on their home court...game 5 will have a huge party feel all game long.

Does anyone have an angle on CM Punk +185 vs. Mike Jackson?

I’ve found this fight incredibly hard to research. There’s simply no updates videos out there.

I don’t know if Punk belongs in a UFC ring even with Mike Jackson?

Rogan not a fan, particularly of him being on the main card above better known, established fighters.  I'm sure the locker room is rooting hard for Jackson

I know nothing of CM punk other than the fact he got lit up last time he fought.  Odds were moving in his favor recently but I see he is back up to +190

I'll tail if someone can give a compelling reason other than "he's due"

Thanks. I agree with Rogan in terms of the ability of these two and their feature on the card.

The angle I'd have to support Punk is this:

The fight is in his home town of Chicago so if they pack the place with wrestling fans, the place will be overwhelmingly pro Punk. That is just a crowd advantage. Does it help in the ring? Not other than a psychological boost.

I will say the UFC waited to schedule this fight in Chicago to give Punk this slight edge (so they obviously want him to win).

As far as talent? Punk was absolutely awful last fight as noted. It was not even a 'fight' per se. It was a man balling up and getting his head bashed.

Mike Jackson fared worse. It was basically a one punch knock-out from the same guy (Mikey Gall).

Jackson is a clown. But he has a boxer, kick-boxer, jiu-jitsu background.

Punk is...a pro wrestler. That's it.

And what I can't find, as opposed to the last time when UFC featured him in video vignettes training is how far he progressed (if at all).

I don't know if this a plus or a minus but Punk just finished a libel trail where he was being sued for 4 million by a WWE doctor. The trial was the past week and he was in court every day. He won (good in that it lifts the spirits psychologically/bad in that it took away from his training and he said so).

I don't know if I could ever see Punk winning a UFC fight but if he does win ONE match, this is the guy.

Again, I can't find anything on how his training has progressed. That is the key. But the odds are becoming more attractive at almost +200. I will say that.

    NBA Championship 06/08/18

    Finals-Game 4

To script or not to script, that is the question.

Coach Kerrs decision, to script, tonight we're going to 'rest' our starting 5 for the majority of game 4, I am not saying to lose intentionally, however, take under consideration, let's bring this Championship home to our fans in the Bay area, and a game 5 WIN. No fun sweeping a team on their home court,  adding insult to injury, and raising the championship trophy on the Cavs center court. let's go home and do it right! game 5 for Oakland. Sweeping the Cavs on their home court means nothing, winning the Championship on our home court means everything, Cavs win tonight, simply because the Dubs allowed them to do so.

    Tonights Handicap

Ok no need to make a thread for this as I don’t have much of a write-up:

Somehow there Yanks are just -165 to win the series over the Mets.

Does the line seem too good to be true (even with Degrom and Noah pitching 2 of 3 games)? Yes. And we all know too good to be true lines are dangerous.

But I can tell you this: the Mets are absolutely dreadful at the plate right now. They cannot hit. They rarely make contact and when they do it’s a double play ball.

    It is literally unwatchable.

Despite Degrom being 4-0 with a 1.43 ERA, they’ve lost 5 of the last 6 with him on the mound. That’s very hard to do...

They just managed to score 1 run in two games against what is the worst Oriole team since Mickey Tettleton and the 0-21 Baltimore team in 1988.

Yanks -165 to win the series (because the Mets can’t put the bat on the ball, so forget the aces on the mound. Can’t score can’t win. Yes it’s that simple.)

Make note at 5:45 mark...   this trial dug up some ugly feelings for him.   Also noted at the end of the video of how important UFC is for him to move on, but he just had to go through all of this emotional stuff that he probably wanted to keep buried, so your thought of him having his spirits lifted may not be the right way to look at it

While I agrre that the Mets are terrible, I just don't see the value in -165 in a series where they won't be a big favorite in any of the 3 games unless the book overvalues German tomorrow. German had 1 great start and that was about it, he has not been good. Severino is one of the best in baseball but he is going against Syndy, I don't think the can make the Yankees more than -160 in that game.

So basically what I am saying is that if you think they will win the series you might be better of betting the games individually based on the projected lines. Why not take Tanaka tonight on a short line? If you don't think tha Yankees will win tonight then you are crazy to lay -165 having to win the next 2 , much better value in betting Yankees tonight at -102 than risking -165 if they lose tonight and have to win 2 games. IMO your only value comes into play if the Yankees win tonight so why not bet your series amount on tonights game and not bet the series, like I said if they lose tonight you are stuck in a bet where the odds are way shifted out of your favor.
