went 2-0 in nba last night. really been struggling to find consistency in ncaa. lost to the juice on penn st. and wv held a completel meltdown when i thought they finally had an offensive change of pace.
gonna lock in the hornets tonight. i'm just waiting to see if i can get anothe rhalf point or so. off back to back losses, facing minny off a big win against houston. perfect sandwich spot for them as minny now has to go on the road to play portland and GSW next two games. don't think they care too much about an east coast team today

ODB...this years version of college hoops has been a complete circus...almost impossible to cap something AND wager it with confidence preflop...i am doing really well sitting back after a cap, and wait if the right scenario presents itself for an ingame wager...i doubt i will end up making more than 5 wagers pregame this season based on what im seeing so far.

You ain’t lying, PB. Wish I had the time I had last year to live bet. I was browsing another forum and came across a pick that I wound up playing. Would’ve never looked twice if I didn’t see this but it looks like they just copied kenpom without any adjustments because of how unpopular.
Akron -3. Purdue Fort Wayne has lost to every team that has been ranked lower than them I. Kenpom. Not only lost, we are talking blowouts. Akron has them best in almost every efficiency metric and it’s not even close

sportsline simulations have them beating IPFW by 11 in pretty much all scenarios. full disclosure I don't use this service when capping games but a buddy of mine who just started getting into gambling uses them and shares their service with me more often than I want him to...lol
IPFW has been a betting dark horse for me in the past as I've backed them a lot in certain spots the last few years but this year? They are a very poor team. I might have to roll with Akron on this one

lmao. i always wondered who bought into that stuff. when i first started i had checked out reviews on statfox or whatever and the only good reviews i saw were people recommedning to fade. regardless, you can't even take IPFW stats seriously because the only time they run up the score is against FCS teams not even ranked in kenpom. i watched akron play in the tournament and i was pretty impressed with them hanging around with clemson. i really don't like backing short road fav's under 4 points but i gotta bite on this one

Back in my youth, i used to buy sporting news and few other select magazines from the newspaper stand every weekend...many mags back then were published once a week and whatever i was reading was atleast a week old...this is around 1990 when i really immersed myself into stats trends rosters coaches etc...but the things they wrote looking back now was just marshmallow fluff...oh how i loved saturday afternoon college hoops game of the week on CBS...good old days to remenisce, but from a betting perspective, i couldnt have been more blind

that's like trading off of CNBC. lol. by the time they say buy everyone is selling. i used to take the picks off like stat salt and crap like that. i also paid incarcerated bob a long time ago for picks, who he poses as "randizzle". i looked into this and found a reported who tracked his IP address he uses for his emails. every email, randizzle, bob, or his other touts, goes back to bob's email only. this fraud sits on twitter all day and barks up a storm, posing as multiple touts under the same umbrella. when the guy asked him about it, he declined to any further interviews

I used to see guys here post "bob" this and "bob" that 10 years ago when i joined here and followed the box...the original crew here used to really know how to cap and zing the noobs that got cuffed...it was a riot...back then it was like the wild wild west around here...now its a snowflake safe room where they get a time out and sit in the corner to breathe and calm down.
I guess this Bob you refer to was that original tout that pisses off alot of people here back then

But seems like I found a winning formula? Atleast for now. 2H spreads and total been quite profitable for me so far this season.
Went about 12-3 2nd half and 25-23 full game bets. Debating whether to stick with 2nd half live wagers along than chasing pregame bets.

2h wagering gives you more info thus an edge...betting pregame is an educated guess at best....just look at the facts...12-3 and 25-23...focus on what you are doing well at...

Ya we need to have pregame spreads noted to make 2H bets.. Usually even dogs that are decent teams that are down full game spread or above half will always make adjustments in halftime and come back nicely in 2H.
Also teams that are shooting decent but having lot of turnovers and if 1H total goes under than the 1H number, 2Hs usually go over.
Its about the Full Game vs 1H progress to make good educated 2H bet based on how 1H transpired. Not everygame, but we get atleast 3-4 games everyday like that with 2nd half reads.
