what do you guys think about pacers FH -.5 today? they've got some good looking stats coming right out the gate, 8th in the league for first half rankings, while houstin is 27th. also, houston is on their third straight road game. should be a sandwich spot for them because they still have two more road games. both upcoming road games are in conference, the first being OKC and the second SA. also they have not played well against tougher defensive teams, of course this is with injuries at the beginning of the season. indy right behind houston for strength of schedule ranking.
houston 1Q - 26.2 points vs indy 25.5 points, however on d
houston 1q - giving up 28.2 while indy giving up only 26.5
houston 2Q - 26.8 points vs indy 29.6 points, however on d
houston 2q - giving up 31.4 while indy giving up only 24.9
looking at these numbers, i think indy is a steal at -.5. thoughts?
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

1-1 for a little under half a unit. you know what's funny? okc fails to cover FH spread with westbrook in. westbrook out, okc wins the game by 10. hmmm? he will never ever win a ring, but i don't think that's as important to him as his stats and himself.
on another note, YA'LL READY FOR SOME COLLEGE HOOPS?! gonna keep it limited for the first couple weeks. last year i got torched messing around with hoops too early. let's hope for a profitable year like last. i'm f*ckin psyched!

locked in: atl +6.5 FH.. atlanta d is absolute trash but good thing for them so is charlotte coming out the gate. i think they'll start out hot, like they try to do most games before completely blowing it in the 3q. with a big win for them over the 6ers, confidence should be a little higher. also, charlotte has some big games ahead of them. don't think they'll be too focused until it really comes down to it later in the game. once the line is released i'll be locking in charlotte 1Q and nets 1Q

ncaa first play of the year. give me the more experienced team that was a cash cow for me last year going into the season. indy usually plays very well against ball st. up until last yer. think this will be solid revenge spot for them to get the momentum going.
indy st +7 -110

same concept applies here as with indy st. oral roberts had zero exhibition games going into the year. they've got a fairly new team of transfers and freshman that i'm sure is going to have a ton of chemistry problems heading into the season. put 2 units on this baby.

i expect this team to go balls to the wall for their head coach's 13th and final year as coach. what better season opener than facing his alma mater, la salle, against a fresh coach starting his first year? these boys came out blazing hot to start the season last year beating clemson and auburn, only to lose to... la salle. huge revenge game here to stomp their guts out. aside from pookie, lasalle has a pretty green team. i like the match up here for temple to blow the doors off these boys

lol. Dukes Canada tour plus practices has given them "enough" gel time that I think you could see this as a pick em by tip. Kentucky's revolving door of talent every leaves them susceptible to slow starts early until they learn to play together and then they are sneaky good in the tournament. the RR wager is smaller than the Duke play so not so Cray Cray. that one is just for funzies
